Antonio’s has been family owned and operated since we opened our first location in 1964. We serve old school family recipes prepared and served by a great staff. Traditional, fresh and simple, just like back home.
We prepare all soups, sauces, pasta, bread, and dressings in-house with generous portions. All five locations have Pasta Factories in their dining rooms where pasta is made fresh daily. No additives, no preservatives -fresh to order, gluten-free menu available. Try a true family tradition: Mama’s Gnocchi Rita Sauce, Dad’s Award-Winning Hand Tossed Pizza Pie, Chicken Antonio, Veal Ossobuco, Polenta and our famous Fresh Baked Bread.
Classic outpost serving traditional Italian cuisine handmade using family recipes.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Antonio’s for years, and me and my coworkers and doctors order here all the time, but my experience last night was honestly the worst I’ve ever had at this location.
I came in to pick up a pizza and asked the older white woman at the carryout counter if I could switch my two small ranch cups to a pint instead, and also get red pepper flakes and parmesan on the side like I normally do. From the moment she walked up, she had a dirty look on her face, and her attitude only got worse. She repeated what I said back to me with an attitude, huffing and puffing, slamming the register, acting like I was inconveniencing her by simply asking to change the ranch size.
She then disappeared to the back of the restaurant, leaving me standing there for what felt like forever. I actually started to feel uncomfortable and worried because her behavior was so extreme over something so simple.
While she was gone, another customer came in someone I actually knew. Even he noticed how long she was taking we had a whole conversation while she was gone. When she finally came back, she rudely announced my total. The man behind me offered to pay for my order because he could clearly tell the situation was strange. The employee rolled her eyes at me and continued acting irritated at both of us. She even snapped at him while he was trying to pay, telling him to wait and then abruptly telling him when to insert his card.
When I got home, I opened the bag and saw that the parmesan and pepper flakes were in tiny sauce cups with barely anything in them nothing like what Antonio’s usually gives. Usually comes in little personal baggies stapled closed. I’ve attached a photo so management can see the difference.
The whole visit left me extremely uncomfortable. I honestly questioned whether my food was handled safely because of how angry and hostile she was FOR NO REASON. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day or if it was because I’m not her color which is sad especially since her attitude started the moment she saw me but either way, no customer should be treated like that.
This location has officially lost a loyal customer. I will not be returning.

Exceeded our expectations.
Did you know there is a total of five restaurants in this family business? I didn’t until recently.
We had such a great experience at the first restaurant that we decided to make a goal of visiting each of the Antonio’s: Dearborn Heights, Plymouth, Livonia, and Farmington Hiils.
We love our date night dinners, and this goal gives us something to look forward to.
Our experience at this restaurant was just as consistent as when we visited Roman Village (we loved it).
Edward was our server, and he didn’t miss a beat. Excellent service combined with perfect timing and flavorful food. I had the veal marsala, and it was amazing.
We just missed seeing Ms. Momma Rita, as she left, about an hour before we arrived. I mention this because she can really make your dining experience a little extra special. We love her stories and learning about how the family business came to be what it is today.
I’ve only been to two of the five restaurants so far, and we will get to them all… but the takeaway is this. CONSISTENCY! Excellent service and great food.
Thanks for another great date night, Rugiero family (and Edward).

Despite there not being many employees, on busy days they try their absolute best to serve every customer that walks in and they do an amazing job. People don’t get how much work gets put into the behind the scenes of this restaurant, it’s easy to get impatient as of course you have to wait for your server or to get a seat but you get amazing food in the end! Servers are nice and also try to make sure you have everything you need!! Appreciate everything this restaurant has to offer! Would come again!!

I absolutely love this place! Such a family oriented restaurant and they do so much for the community. But most of all the food is authentic Italian and amazing!

I went there for dinner with my fiance on Sunday January 25, 2026 around 7:45 pm. When we got there the Manager Brandon greeted us at the hostess booth and told us that they had already closed. My fiance told him that he had drove quite a way in very nasty weather to have dinner there. The manager seated us and let us stay and have our dinner. My fiance and I had an amazing dinner and our waitress was just as amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and she was very kind and a lot of fun. We thanked the Manager Brandon for allowing us to be seated and have our dinner and we both let him know how very much we appreciated his kindness. We knew that he did not have to seat us and both of us completely understand that the staff wanted to get home safely to their families. The weather has been crazy for a couple of days and driving is not fun. We have had dinner at that restaurant several times and the food and the staff are the best. This is without a doubt on our top 5 favorite places to eat at. Thank you again Brandon and Debbie. You two are great.

I have been coming to Antonios for years and in this economy for the amount of money for the exact same portions is one thing, $30 for a single entree, but the level of service we received today has to be a joke. As a 16 year restaurant veteran who went into management I completely understand people having a bad day and i wish i could say that i didnt know my server was having one except when she was on speaker phone in the bathroom airing out her and “rays” business instead of greeting tables proves that it probably wasnt her night. whatever, no big deal not my business, except our server stopped by to take the order drop off salad, our drinks and dirty plates sat at the end of the table until another server stopped by to take them. server dropped off our food and said she would be back to check on us, our empty drinks said otherwise while she walked past multiple times with empty hands and making eye contact with us. Before the message comes that we shouldve talked to a manager or family member, dont worry he was wearing a hole in the floor walking the same path looking at our dirty table and empty drinks, but made time to make sure to catch the speed skating event on the TV in the bar. the fact that the server in the section next to us and the host were the only 2 to actually see we needed something and be helpful is insane. If youre going to continue to raise your prices i would rather eat anywhere that charges that much and provides a minimum level of service to match those prices. we were not offered a drink refill once until the server realized that we still tipped 20%.
To future diners if you do decide to eat here, which the food is good for the most part, split a pizza and do not sit in Shannas section.

Shanna was our server and was outstanding! She even had her own party trick – ask her about it! LOL! The food here and at their other restaurants is excellent! A favorite place in Metro Detroit for us.

The food was perfection. There had been a delay in service, which led to me almost walking out… but the staff and managers stopped us and apologized for the one waitress (Diana). I requested a different waitress and am so happy that I did. She had a smile on the entire time and was very attentive to even the smallest of things. Thank you so much to the manager and general manager for the canolli. It was not expected and is so appreciated. The rest of the dinner ran smoothly, and I will always be going back. One bad waitress does not mean it’s a bad establishment. The food was delicious, the space was clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure their guests were happy. Thank you for what ended up being a good dinner! I’ve been a customer since 2012 till now and will always go back when I have that warm Italian food craving! And as always I highly recommend this place. Thank you again to the 2nd waitress Sofia for such a great experience! She had serious skills when it came to customer service!

1st time and it was so worth it. The food was a little slow coming out but worth the wait. Everything was hot and tasted fresh made. The waitress was awesome. She was very kind, patient, knowledgeable and had a great smile. Will be going again for sure.
