While passing through the town we stopped at this place by recommendation from a local. We wanted quick, filling, and nothing that breaks the bank. This was it! Almost everything was perfect! The 2 things I would not eat again are the pre dinner salads and the gnocchi. The salad tasted as if it sat in the dressing all day. I look for that crunch when I have a salad and this didnt have it. The taste was also not 100% and felt like it was missing something. The gnocchi itself was pretty typical but the sauce with it just wasnt flavorful. I couldn’t even finish eating it because it felt like maybe it wasnt worth the carbs. The meatball was amazing as was the Sunday Sauce! The rolls were great and the Alfredo was on point! Overall, I would go back to try some other dishes!

Antone’s Kitchen in Boardman is a small but cozy spot that offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food came out. The portion sizes are very generous—you definitely get your money’s worth in that regard.
While the experience was enjoyable overall, the food leaned more toward quantity than quality. Everything we tried was fine, but nothing really stood out as particularly flavorful or memorable. It didn’t quite capture that authentic Italian feel I was hoping for, and some of the dishes felt a bit one-note.
That said, if you’re looking for a casual place with big portions and quick service, Antone’s fits the bill. It’s a solid local option, even if it’s not one I’d go out of my way to revisit for the food alone.

A must have for me with any meal at Antone’s is the Monkey Salad….I love, love, love this salad. Next, if I’m not getting the crazy delicious lasagna or some other pasta dish, then it’s a Knuckle sammie. It’s a lovely eatery and I really like the decor inside as well. Beautiful plated meals but for sure come with an appetite or else you are taking a doggie bag home. They serve up big portions for sure.

Oh. My. Word. This was absolutely delicious. Thank you to Burger King for having their dining room closed because that’s where we were going. I had the Uncle Artie knuckle sandwich and let me tell you what – that was absolutely amazing. I had two rolls before and could only eat half my sandwich. Don’t worry, it was finished off for dinner. Not quite as good but still delish. The prices were reasonable but it wouldn’t really matter cause they can take my money. That was amazing!
My wife had a flatbread pizza which she said was good and no complaints from the munchkins on their meals. Even the Dr. Pepper was good. If you are looking for delicious food at a reasonable price and in the Boardman area, this is the place to eat. Strongly recommend!!!

Pretty good Italian creations. Their bread is awesome. They do all pepperoni dished well from the pizza to the knuckle sandwich which is a delicious stack of them in their wonderful bread.
However their menu is probably the biggest missed opportunity I’ve ever seen in the hundreds of the restaurants I’ve visited and reviewed. For instance my first order here was via doordash to find a menu. Upon finding abysmal descriptions, I went to their website to see if it was shortened for simple ordering. Nope. For the first time orderer how in the heck am I supposed to know what Sunday sauce, monkey salad or the many other oddball descriptions listed. Cool funny names cool, no description really? Do you want new customers?
FYI monkey salad is a small salad with tuna chunks. Glad I only spent 1$ on it since I found that out the hard way.

Absolutely phenomenal every single time. I’ve never had a complaint as long as I’ve been coming here and ordering take out/delivery. Fish, salads, fried cheese, big lasagna and greens are all outstanding!!
