Great authentic place with a nice selection of food. Just wish they would bring you the sauces and extras because it feels more like a taqueria than a sit down restaurant. But nice people and good food

They offered us soup in tiny bowls at the beginning, asking us if we wanted any. Each was perhaps 3.5 oz. We naturally assumed they were free. They also brought us bottled water, maybe to charge us for it. Ultimately the itemized receipt was confusing, and it appears we were charged for the soup. $1/portion. Perhaps this is their business model. The music was really loud and the workers eagerly helped to turn it down, but it was still too loud afterwards. Other food was good and the coke was large. If the owners would like to send us a more detailed receipt, I would reconsider the rating.

Michoacano here, my first time and it was awesome. We ordered the red chilaquiles, tlacoyo and tlayuda and it was delicious. The food it’s homemade, fresh. I’ll definitely be back and will invite all my friends and family to come and support the business.

Great Oaxacan Mexican food. Fresh cafe de la olla (traditional cinnamon coffee), chilaquiles so crispy and delicious. The mole was so tasty. Come get a genuine taste of Oaxaca when passing through. The service was also on point❣️

Came on a Weds for lunch. Very amicable staff and great ambience. Clean establishment from the outside and in. The soup provided before the meal is great as well as the agua fresca (water melon). I ordered the Mole Enchiladas Oaxaqueños with chicken. Mole was great, a hint of spice and earthy flavor. A little dry but the sauce they have available makes up for it. Plenty of parking alongside the building off Phelan. This is a cash only restaurant but accepts Zelle (how I paid).

I certified this place as AUTHENTIC home mexican food.
Not only is it well served, fresh made, and delicius, but it has that touch grandmother mexican food.
Dorelia, the waitres lady, is great with customer service.
There are 2, one in the story and this one, equally great in food and service.
The only downside is that in the one in story. The lady owner made extra charges to the bill without telling you.
Just check your receipt

Mole is tasty. You can have mild or spicy mole. Comes with 3 large corn tortillas. They would not give me tap ice water.
