Very pleasent and delicious experience. I had the pollo con tajadas and my husband ordered pupusas. We used to eating Salvadoran Pupusas but I’m very shocked that these surpassed my expectations since I grew up eating pupusas from Salvadoran shops. There absolutely delicious. I’m Mexican American and used to Mexican cuisine. I was very pleased that they had Serrano peppers that I could eat with my food to give it a kick of spice.

It’s very expensive! We spent almost $52 on two dishes (containing typical food) and two bottles of water. Each dish cost around $18, and they charged us a 12% service fee. We hadn’t realised this, so we added a 15% tip, plus 8.25%, for a total charge of 35.25%! The food wasn’t great: one tamale, one pastelito, one flauta and one meat tostada, all covered in lots of cabbage, tomatoes and grated cheese. The presentation was horrible. It looked like street food. It’s a shame given the price. You can find better quality food for a lower price elsewhere. There was only one person doing both the cashier and server roles. This person was very kind, though. Overall, I was very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend it at all..

June 2024 update: Had to come back for the baladeas and good as always. I noticed they remodeled since the last time I came. They made it bigger and brighter. It looks nice! However, it looks like they are slowly charging us for those updates! They have an EXTRA 10% surcharge on the total… HMMM…. they also charge more if paying with card. Our total wasn’t much because it was just 2 baladeas, a side of plantains and a coke. Now imagine for a whole family?! That’s excessive.
Our favorite place for baladeas Hondureñas! This time my sister and I got the tajadas con pollo. It is so good. We’ll continue to come here forever!

First time trying Honduras food. They speak only in Spanish. Decent food but for the tajadas only had one small fried chicken breast ? Correct me if I’m wrong but tajadas has a lot of chicken ?

I have tried food from my culture in many places and I always like to talk about the good and the bad. This is the second place where I have tried the best baliadas in size and flavor. What they have to improve is customer service. Something that I only see in Honduran restaurants is that they charge a percentage of the bill to the customer, in this case 10.0% called SURCHARGE, I don’t know if that is legal. But there is one thing that must be clear: no one can charge a tip for a service that has not been given. That is a will or a habit that certain people have, the truth is that I checked the bill until after, but I had already left a tip, which is what I normally do. Something new that I learned here in case I come back again.
