Steak Sandwich, 1/2 BBQ Chicken, and a slice of Pistachio Cheese Cake.
It seemed like this deli was always packed with long lines, and we waited perhaps more or less 20 minutes. It’s pretty straightforward to order in front of what’s available. And we managed to get a table while waiting for our turn to order. Having the food wasn’t a long wait, and we thought that there was a great flavor for the sandwich; the chicken had a bit of overpowering flavor, and we did enjoy the Pistachio Cheesecake; we felt it fresh, we just didn’t like it much of too strong not sure whether that’s the essence from vanilla or pistachio that’s almost killing the flavor of the pistachio and cheese.
Overall, we were happy we visited and tried the food and dessert they offer.
Foodwise my favorite is their steak sandwich; it’s simple but hearty and done right. Tri-tip sandwich is also good. They make their own ravioli by hand; it’s small and so soft that it often falls apart on the fork, but it’s tasty. I also love that when you buy a steak dinner, you can get penne pasta as a side!
Just beware that parking is tight, so you may have to park on the residential street nearby. And they close at 5pm, so get your dinners early — there’s usually a line!
owned! it has the atmosphere of a small city! I loved it! The meat, omg
Long line already when we walked in and took between three to five minutes average for each customer to give orders and wait for your food and drinks to deliver to you if you are dine-in!
Portion are matching with the cost which is bit too much for us!
Service are just fine, not rude or kind! Food tastes just average.
I tried the steak sandwich and also the meatball sandwich. The steak as well as the meatballs lacked flavor. The best part of the sandwich was the sourdough bread and to me, if that’s the best oart of a sandwich, something is wrong. There is no option to customize your sandwich or have add-ons. There isn’t anything special about the sandwiches really. Also I paid $17.49 for the steak sandwich
I should have also tried the pasta, so I’ll have to update my review once I do. I hear the ravioli is good
I waited 40 minutes with about 8 people in front of me JUST TO ORDER. By the time I left there were 20+ people in line so I can imagine them waiting over an hour to order. The lady taking orders though is super sweet.
Honestly, I think I would’ve been more satisfied going across the street to Lucky and ordering a sandwich from the deli there. I’ll update my review once I come back, but as it stands for now, Antipastos is overrated and not worth the wait or the food
