Went here for Valentine’s Day for the first time and I must say that I was very impressed. The servers were very attentive, making sure that our bread baskets and glasses stayed full. The bread itself was amazing, salty and flakey and crusty in the outside and cloud soft on the inside. The eggplant parm was very crispy and flavorful, even the spaghetti was well seasoned. The spicy rigatoni did not disappoint… and was indeed spicy. A great option if you’re looking for something with a little more kick, and the sauce was wonderful to dip the bread into. Ambience was very nice as well, elegant and classy. A great first impression overall, we will be back!

Our first time trying this place and we love it. It’s a good opportunity to try new places during restaurant week and this is one of the restaurants that we visited.
All the food is delicious starting from appetizers, entrees and desserts. We have Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Whipped Ricotta. Both of the is amazing especially Whipped Ricotta is very light, soft and yummy. For entrees, we have Eggplant Parmesan and Pistachio Crushed Whitefish. The portions are huge. We have to pack some home and save room for desserts. Chocolate Budino and Tiramisu are our desserts. Chocolate budino goes well with the whipped cream that comes on the side.
We definitely go back again! I want to try pot roast and beef risotto.

Place is hands down the best Italian cuisine I ever had! Staff is friendly and food is scrumptious! Comes out pretty fast! The chicken parmesan is the deserts are equally as food as the food! I recommend the cheese cake! Definitely my favorite spot now! It’s been 2x this month! Such a good place!

This was my first time visiting Antico Posto and I absolutely fell in love with this restaurant. It was my birthday. The staff was so friendly and our server Joy, was an absolute delight. She gave us suggestions of wines to go with our food. The food was absolutely amazing. And that olive oil with the bread on the table….. excellent. We’ll be back this summer.

Omg this place was amazing! First time here which I live 2 minutes away. Not sure why we haven’t eaten here before. Recently my son took his girlfriend here and they told us all about this place. Our server “Memo” was very attentive. Memo is the best !!. The food and drinks were delicious. Me and my husband will come back soon!

decided to come here to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and made a reservation via opentable noting so.
when we were seated, noticed a happy birthday card which was odd and the server didn’t acknowledge it. started off with the complimentary bread which was good but wish they gave more. typically restaurants offer more if they see an empty bread basket but they did not. we were fine with it so we had room in our stomachs for the app/entrees. ordered the fried calamari and while it was good, the portion size was small. i got the gnocchi bolognese for my entree and my husband got the risotto from the chef’s specials. both were delicious but my gnocchi was not filling at all. got a chocolate budino as well and that was very good.
another thing was the tables seem a little too close to each other. could hear other table conversations very clearly.
overall, mediocre service and decent food.

Highly recommend the sausage stuffed peppers, shrimp linguine, pumpkin gelato, and the speciality salad. Incredible value for the quality of meal and service. Can’t wait to go back to try the risotto and ravioli dishes! Make sure to make a reservation in advance or it could be a 1-2 hr wait on a Friday or Saturday night.

This is my first review of Antico Posto but this fine restaurant has been my favorite restaurant at Oakbrook mall for decades! It consistently offers good service and great food. Today was no exception. Joy was our server – she had great recommendations and was able to tell us how dishes were prepared. We had the eggplant parmigiana- the whitefish- and followed with single scoop of delicious house- made pistachio gelato. The restaurant was busy but we were not rushed.
