Not a bad place, shopping center is holding it back, if they can get a few well lit stores in that corner it would provide a better environment for good business.
The pizza is nice and thin giving the pizza a nice cook. Toppings are fresh and their smaller sized pizza is not bad for 2.
There’s a whole Italian food menu, not just pizza and you can dine in where I’ve seen them have live performances.
Feels a bit more premium without the bloatiness you get after eating other pizzas.

Was a wonderful spot to hit after walking through the caverns. My two kids were starving–service was fast, food was filling and delicious. My daughter is a pasta snob but loved the sauce here. My son devoured the wings and pizza. Was a great meal, great price and our server was very good.

I was a very frequent customer of Anthony’s, the owner knows that, he’s the one that made it known that I was when I had ordered a 2 liter months back & didn’t get it with my order. So, I called to let them know & the owner said “you order from us a lot so next time call and order and let me know I owe you a 2 liter & I’ll get it to you then”. Well, that all changed today. Myself, my husband and my daughter ordered Anthony’s last night (2/13/26) for delivery, it was late I’ll admit that, around 9:00PM (they’re open for delivery until 10:15 PM & close at 11:00 PM). We had lost track of time doing home renovations & were starving since we hadn’t had time to eat anything. We were super excited we were still in the timeframe to order from Anthony’s for delivery. A simple order, two 6″ hoagies & 2 sides — mozzarella sticks & cheddar cheese fries. The usual order! It was delivered around 10:30/10:45 PM & we all crushed the food like we normally do. One big difference — within an hour we all felt sick, assumed we ate too fast & going to sleep it off. WELL! That food had other plans! Myself and my entire family were up all night with the food coming out both ends! Which has NEVER happened in the 5 years I’ve been a customer of Anthony’s & we always order the same thing except sometimes we thrown in a large pizza, this time we didn’t and I’m SO glad. We were up and down all night sick as dogs, it carried over to today. I decided to call and speak with the owner since he would know who I was, let him know what happened & kindly request a refund even if it was a long shot but considering we have been frequent customers for the last 5 years, not to mention spending a good amount of money each order & also the fact we’ve never gotten sick before.
The owner answered, I refreshed his memory of who I was & explained what happened, how it hasn’t happened before & asked about getting a refund. Yes, we got the food but we didn’t get to keep it down WELL! After putting the phone down having a discussion I couldn’t understand or hear very well and then put me on what I thought was hold for almost 5 minutes before the call “disconnected” (I think he just muted me waiting for me to hang up, like I wouldn’t call back). So, of course I did. “I’m not sure what happened sir, I don’t know if you put me on hold and hung up.” His response? “I kept saying hello and didn’t hear anything.” ♀️ OK, well? He goes on to explain I should have called last night. By the time we ate & got sick, Anthony’s was closed! They closed at 11:00 PM and we didn’t get our order until a little after 10:30 PM! I even apologized for ordering so late! His next reasoning was “We open at 11AM, you should have called first thing this morning.” I’m sorry sir, I didn’t get a break from work and this was the first chance I had to call because I had to leave work due to being ill. His next response “Since you ordered online it goes thru Slice, you want a refund, contact them.” NO remorse what so ever, didn’t even try to recify the situation at all, I guess it’s because I asked for a refund, I am extremely disappointed with the entire situation but most of all how he treated the situation, not even an apology. I ended the call with these choice words “I ordered from your website sir, but okay I’ll contact them. Just know I will NEVER EVER eat at Anthony’s again!! You just lost a long time frequent customer that always spends a good chunk of money & has NEVER had an issue in all the years I’ve eaten there!!” He hung up just as I finished my sentence. He could CARELESS!!! I was sure the situation was going to go somewhat differently, at least accountability but no, none at all. Even asked me what was wrong with the food, why’d we eat it if it was going to make us sick?! Uhhhh, as far as I could taste, nothing! I ignored the huge amount of bad reviews,the negative posts on Facebook & stayed a regular loyal customer just to be treated like dirt & it was OUR fault for eating HIS food that made us sick. NEVER EVER AGAIN! I wonder who a health inspector would side with?

There seems to be a lot of conflicting reviews for this place, but I still decided to give a try as I planned to before I arrived. The online order was easy to use and it said the order would be done in about 20-30. Took me about 20 mins to get there and the food was ready, no issues with that. I ordered a chicken calzone, small sicilian pizza, mozzarella sticks(6 total), and bacon cheese fries.
The calzone was phenomenal and it was by far the best part of the meal.
The pizza was insanely mid…crust was way too tough and it felt like it was grocery store bought.
The moz sticks were very similar as well, nothing too extraordinary but got the job done.
The bacon cheese fries tasted like the cheese was a cheese sauce on nachos, not the melted shredded cheese we had expected.

Our delivery was taken to the wrong address and left on a neighbors porch that we had to drive to get. The calzone was virtually just bread with one piece of ham, and it was burnt. The pizza was missing three toppings that cost an extra ten dollars. When we called the store to talk to the manager about the issue, the manager wouldn’t answer the phone, and we were told to report it to the online order app for a refund for the toppings. We spent over $100 for the items in the pictures plus a 20% tip for the delivery. The food and service were both abysmal. My sister lives locally and is currently posting to everyone on Facebook. She is getting feedback from locals that this is NOT the place to go. Please do not waste your time or money on this place.

Came in and a lady took my order then another lady come and asked if I was ready to order. I ordered pasta and the nuddles was mushy and the sauce watery and bland. The second lady acted overly eager I don’t know if she was new or not. Anthony’s used to be the best little place to eat but not any more. I could of gotten a frozen prepare pasta from Walmart and it would have been a better meal than what I got.

Atmosphere I didn’t dine in I carried out so don’t really apply. Service was fast order was taken right away and my 3 subs was ready in 15 minutes. Only giving a 3 star because of the hair in my steak & cheese sub. Hair nets should be worn by anyone with long hair preparing food that’s disgusting and I lost my appetite.

I called for delivery I asked for the name of the person taking my order. The young man REFUSED to give me his name. When pressed for his name he stated that he was the owners son. Well I guess he’s to entitled to be expected to state him name. He finally gave me his name but by that time I didn’t trust them not to spit in my food so I canceled my order. I wouldn’t eat anything from someone who can’t even give me their name!

Ordered a dozen wings the other day from there. I have”NEVER” Had chicken wings, so dry and hard in my life! They were completely uneditable! I’ve been ordering food from there for over 14 years and this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. They have just lost a customer for life!

We eat at Anthony’s Pizza located in Luray, Virginia, on occasion. This is a good destination to get a hot sub sandwich or vegetarian pizza.
I will say that I am a sucker for a hot Italian sub, and this restaurant does not disappoint. I recommend it with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, vinegar and oil, and raw onions. This pairs really well with their delicious basket of fries that we usually share with the table.
I also really need to recommend these special Steak and Cheese sub. This sub also includes Peppers diced into the steak and cheese and it’s topped with lettuce and tomato.
My partner really enjoys the veggie pizza. This pizza comes loaded with broccoli, peppers, onions, black olives, and tomato.
Last time we were in, we tried the broccoli and potato soup as a special that was not normally on their menu. It was delicious. However, we didn’t know that there was bacon in the soup. My vegetarian partner was quite surprised.
The only reason I removed one star for the atmosphere is that sometimes the other patrons can be a little rough, and people stare. However, the staff has always been very attentive and polite.
