Anthony’s Coal-Fired Pizza & Wings is a chain of restaurants that offer freshly-baked pizzas including a very good Gluten Free Pizza (the pepperoni and mushroom pizza included in the images). Ambiance is nice with an emphasis on the bar in terms of style and image focus. Dishes are tasty but somewhat expensive (2 pizzas, one salad and two Cokes were $80 with tip). Service was exemplary.

We waited over an 80 minutes for our pizza at the bar. Meanwhile the guests who came in 25 minutes after were served there apps and pizza before us. Finally, I ask the server how much longer for our pizza, and she tells us she has no control over when the kitchen makes our pizza. So they just pick and choose when? Isn’t it simple, the first orders that come in are the first orders to go out? Apparently not. We finally got our pizza, but we asked for it to go since it was so late. And it wasn’t even done thoroughly. Unreal. Will never go back. We had to come home and cook for 10 more minutes. Oh and no air conditioner 🙂

Wow. I heard so much good about this place. Then I ordered. Just a pizza and wings. I did create my own with meat and mushrooms. Garlic rom wings. The pizza bottom was so burnt on the bottom it ruined the entire pie. I think the toppings were good but the bottom taste of brun makes it inedible. I asked for the wing sauce to be on the side. Wowza. It’s like the did a double scoop on top! They soaked. I can’t find a decent pizza joint in or near Palm Harbor to save my life. Jeez.

The pizza was absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly cooked and each bite was so flavorful! The salad was fresh and delicious as well! The coal fire on the crust really added to to the taste and crunch.The garlic knots were ok. This is my new favorite pizza place!!!

Stopped here a couple weeks ago with friends from KY. This Sunday lunch we were invited to go here from church. I explained that I was not impressed with the “well done” pizza. They said neither were they but you can ask for it not as done. I was skeptical so order the Meatball Sub with their (delightful) long peppers. Our friends ordered a couple pizzas and they were terrific. I tried the Carnivore pizza, excellent.
Service was great, pizzas were perfect and my Meatball Sub was delicious. So big I had to take half home for later. We will be back with the family for a future Sunday lunch after church!

Absolute perfection in every bite crispy crust, rich sauce, gooey cheese, and toppings that sing. This pizza isn’t just food, it’s an experience. 10/10, would daydream about it again. The bottom is exactly how it should be the crust delectable. Thank you . Finally a pizza place that knows what they are doing.

Food was great when we finally got it. Kaitlyn was a wonderful server who kept checking on us. We waited 1.5 hours for our pizza. We saw several people complaining about the wait. We have been coming her for a very long time and will continue but something must be done about the wait for 1 pizza!!!!

Definitely was not impressed with the Pizza. Below average quality. Very very very high in calories. The 10 inch thin crust pizza with pepperoni comes out to between 1600 to 1800 calories. And it’s a pizza for one so if you’re watching calories, definitely definitely not for you. Went for the $10 lunch special but it was really $12 plus tax because they add an extra two dollars for pepperoni. The place is clean. The server/bartender was nice. However, the quality isn’t there. FYI, I only went because of the advertised $10 lunch special. Their regular menu is very very expensive. And for the quality that they put out, it’s not worth the price.

The food is great there but their customer service is awful. Twice now I was given a wrong delivery order. The second time they made us wait on hold for 15 minutes before getting back to us to just to tell us the best they can do is offer a refund and instructing us to reorder and pick up our food. There are much better solutions and it seems like this would be an easy fix but apparently they have not figured this out yet.

It has been a couple years since I’ve ordered from Anthony’s and thought I would try it out again. I ordered a 12 inch pizza, sausage, pepperoni and onion. I also asked for extra sauce on the side. I arrived to pick up my pizza and had to wait almost 20 minutes past the pickup time. No apologies and no one checked with me to see if I wanted anything while I waited. When I finally got my pizza, there was no extra sauce. I asked for it and the server rolled her eyes and went back to the counter and began helping someone else. I waited a couple more minutes and just left. Not sure if I will go again. $28 12 inch pizza and I gave a $4 when I ordered.
