We went with a large group on super bowl Sunday. The food was great, as always. The servers and cooks did a really good job keeping up, considering how much they had to keep making for takeout orders. It was very loud though. But then again, Superbowl Sunday!

Good Ole Anthony’s, been going for over 20 years, even met Anthony’s wife at the original Fort Lauderdale location. Just got a small sausage pizza and so glad they still use real sausage (fresh, ground, not the awful gray slices now so common, even in quality places). Love the dollops of the tasty sauce (those Italian tomatoes… tho they seemed a little less flavorful, though still nice). Anthony’s was one of the early coal-fired, 900-degree pizza makers outside of New York. Now many places cook “well done” pizza at high heat. My pizza was delish, waitress nice, atmosphere pleasing. (Now until end of sept. A discount due to their winning the Newsweek “best chain pizza” award… you must ask for it)… all in all, despite complaints of diminished quality due to changes in ownership in recent years, their pizza is still quite good…and they offer a full menu of other tasty items. (I wish they had a small side salad…the regular salad in 10 bucks… )

We dine in at Anthony’s Delray Beach often. It is ALWAYS delicious and the servers are great. We love the salads, baked wings, pasta fagoli soup and of course the pizza. One night I ordered what I thought was delivery. We could not pick up and realized our mistake even after the pizza was made. Anthony’s cancelled the order and refunded my card. We had already ordered the same thing through Door Dash and enjoyed it. The simple kindness of refunding the order speaks volumes about the Anthony’s team and the pizza is the best. You can bet that we will be back.

So I haven’t been here in a long time, but I had to leave review. I could not have been more pleased. We went for happy hour and tried everything on the happy hour menu and it was all spectacular! But what put our visit over the top was our bartenders, they were both very nice and suggestive, and made our visit wonderful. Brittany and Lauren were awesome, the food was awesome, Highly recommend! But do not skip there happy hour, it’s amazing!

$5 meatballs – you get two per order. Delicious and amazing deal!
We didn’t order any pizza but we did sign up for the rewards program which gave us a free pizza so we’re definitely coming back for that. You also get a free pizza during your birthday month on the rewards program!

We ate at Anthony’s for the first time today and ordered two pizzas. After reading about the 900 degree ovens at Anthony’s we were looking forward to better than average pizzas. Both pizzas were warm not hot and were bland tasting.
After telling the wait staff person that both pizzas were not hot they were taken back and maybe seven minutes later were served back to us on the same board they were on before with the two slices missing that we had eaten and the pizza was still not hot but warm and the board was hot as though the pizza was probably put on top of the oven rather than in the 900 degree oven.
I told the wait staff the pizza was not good and then when leaving I told the three men Maning the oven that I was served pizzas that wasn’t hot twice. Not a word of apology from any of them. No thank you for the tip for unsatisfactory service and food. What a disappointment!

We just went there this evening, and what a disappointment. We ordered the family combo- Pizza, wings and garlic rolls. First, we waited for the rolls and wings and the rolls came in burned. Then, we waited another 1/2 hour for the pizza, (our beer was war at this time) that came in with very small amount of cheese, it was burned and very hard to be eaten. (Total wait for the food over 45 minutes) The waiter asked us if we wanted the pizza to be re-made, but we refused to wait another 45 minutes. We ordered a take out before, and the pizza was good, and since we are local, we decide to go to dine in, but it ruined our evening. I don’t think we will visit there again.
