We were not greeted when we walked in and had to seat ourselves. After sitting down, we waited about five minutes with no water and no menus until I asked for them. Only then did someone acknowledge us. Basic hospitality should not require prompting.
We ordered the artichoke dip and the baked ziti, which was recommended by our waitress. The baked ziti was frankly unacceptable. It tasted like microwaved cafeteria food, unevenly heated, lacking freshness, and made with very poor-quality vegetables. There was no depth of flavor, no sense that it was freshly prepared. I had to send it back.
We used to think Olive Garden set the bar low for Italian food. Unfortunately, this experience was worse. For a restaurant that promotes itself around “coal fired pizza,” this level of food and service is extremely disappointing. There’s a serious disconnect between the brand and the reality.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this is not the standard any restaurant should be operating at.
We hosted a retirement party here for my colleague Jason, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this experience.
In the week leading up to the event, I was extremely busy, and my mother coordinated directly with the manager — to the point where he even gave her his personal cellphone number so she could text with any questions. That level of accessibility and care alone spoke volumes.
On the day of the party, the staff had multiple tables set up perfectly to accommodate our group of over 30 people. Our waitress was an absolute rockstar — she handled separate drink tabs effortlessly, kept everything moving smoothly, and made sure no one was ever waiting too long. The food was delicious, and she stayed in constant communication with me throughout the event, checking in to see if we needed more food or anything else.
The manager was also present the entire time and made a point to personally check in with us, letting us know he was there for anything we needed. That hands-on approach made such a difference and truly elevated the entire experience.
Even after the party officially wrapped up, we stayed at the bar until closing, which says a lot about how comfortable and welcome we felt.
I would 100% recommend this location and this specific staff. They truly went above and beyond and helped make this retirement celebration an unforgettable experience.
I know this is a pizza joint but I usually come here just for the wings.
Got an order of 10 original wings tonight and a meatball & ricotta pizza. The wings were ready in under 5 mins. They are perfectly charred, fall off the bone, and great taste with the onions on top.
The pizza was great too. Crispy thin crust
With sweet tomato sauce, clumps of ricotta, and tender meatballs.
The wait staff were all very attentive and professional. Greeted at the door, sat immediately, and my waitress was there to take a drink order right away.
Nothing like Anthony’s coal fired.
this location appears to have super thick bready crust.
this pie was requested with extra thin crust, and extra cheese.
i could only imagine how think the crust would have been if I hadn’t requested “thin”.
the meatballs were a bit firm, unlike other locations i had tried where they’re pretty soft and tender, not sure why.
i would give other Anthony’s locations I’ve tried (in NJ) over 4 stars, maybe even 5. but this location disappointed, more like 2.5 stars. at least the ingredients are still high quality even if they don’t cook it well.
Now the pizza: who said shrimp scampi works on pizza?? I have a deep love for pizza and most toppings but this one didn’t really work for us. I felt like I should be eating pasta and the shrimp separately.
The pepperoni pizza was very good.
