I didn’t realize this place is inside Strang Hall when I first found it online, so it was a little hard to find at first. But the food was scrumptious and came out quickly. It was some of the best curry I’ve had in KC. And since it’s in Strang Hall, there are other eateries for anyone in your party who isn’t into this type of food. Will definitely go back and recommend to folks who live in this part of town.

The service was out of this world. The Executive chef, Anourom Thomson went way above and beyond. We were deciding what to have for dessert after having an incredible dinner and he offered BOTH. They were absolutely delicious as well as everything thing else we tried. If you are looking for somewhere to go, this is it! DO NOT HESITATE. We will be back as well as we told our team to do a team meeting there. I can’t express how top notch of a person Mr. Thomson is. Super impressed all around.

First it’s inside the strall house if you are searching. Yellow curry was amazing. Stir fry noodles was also amazing with lot of chicken. The sticky rice was average. It’s not coconut infused so reducing points for it.

This place is definitely over rated.
Food is mediocre and not a value for money destination.

In other comments it mentioned about great service, but it is a food court, so the only service I received is oder taking at the counter.

Will not be back. I will highly recommend Khop Jai Der at 119th and Quivira.

Rice pudding with flambé was fun. It was smooth with crisp rice bits on top resembling coconut-ey taste.

Looking for a unique place to dine in Overland Park and stumbled onto Anousone. The staff was super nice and informative. The food was incredible! We had the Yellow Curry, Stir Fry and Crab Ragoon. It was nothing like we had before! So, if you are looking for a unique experience, try Anousone. The owner was genuinely awesome! We will return!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I had the Adobo St. Louis ribs. The broth and rice that they came in were some of the best tasting mix I have ever had. I could just eat that alone. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ribs even though they were cooked perfectly and juicy. But something just felt off about the taste of the ribs and so I asked the cooks if there was another item on the menu with the same broth and rice. The “owner” or main chef if you will overheard me and offered to make me the ribs again but have them just braised instead of frying them, and they tasted amazing. He went out of his way to do this for me and that’s the exact type of place that will make me come back. Loved the food and will definitely be back on another date night

Anousone is a rare Star of a restaurant here in Kansas City. The staff is attentive, competent and friendly, and every dish they put out is made and served with professionalism and care. The chef has far exceeded an expectation of simple hospitality to something better- the food and the service feels like being welcomed home. The fried Brussel sprouts were perfectly balanced and crispy with a touch of sweetness. The khao poon was very rich, the perfect dish to warm you up on a cold morning. The star of the show was the whole fried Branzino special, served with rice and stir fried veggies and a smoky-sweet soy sauce. With the Crème brûlée to top things off, this was a meal fit for kings. Whether you need a place to impress out-of-town guests or a place to relax and warm up, Anousone is the place to be.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I ordered the sticky rice plate with crispy pork belly and the forbidden rice pudding. It came with the sticky banana leaves, two hot sauces, and Asian spicy papaya salad. I loved that the sticky rice was wrapped in banana leaves and def made it more fragrant. The crispy pork belly was well cooked and not too hard or oily. The papaya salad was excellent and I absolutely loved it. For dessert, the forbidden rice pudding was absolutely amazing. It was not too sweet, but satisfied that craving. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

First time here and I had the Bun Rice bowl with pork belly and it was delicious. The head Chef runs a smooth kitchen and all of the other chefs are turning out fabulous looking dishes. Loved it!
