Whether you are looking for an old school hamburger restaurant, or a dessert shop straight out of the 1930s, we are sure to have something to please. Our menu features classics such as burgers, melts, a soup of the day, and our locally famous blue plates specials. Our food is made from scratch daily, and our burgers use fresh locally sourced beef. Nice spot near the heart of Rosenberg by the tracks.
Walked in about 12:10 on Friday and no issues with being escorted to an open table. Left around 1 and saw the empty tables fill up, but never a line waiting.
Ordered BLT (no ‘T’ for me), and a side of onion rings ($7.25). My wife order the club sandwich.
Food service was fast.
Onion rings are beer battered, but not homemade. Not the best, but certainly filled the description.
The sandwiches arrived quickly, the club was ‘good’, and the BLT was fine. Bacon plentiful, but a little too crispy for me.
Picked up a fresh made vanilla shake ($8) to go, with whipped cream and a cherry. It hit the spot to finish our visit at this historic cafe.
My wife and I walked out for $45 to cover two sandwiches, two drinks, onion rings, and a shake.

This is a wonderful place to go to when shopping in downtown Rosenberg or wanting an authentic old cafe experience. The fries were excellent; crispy outside and a soft inside. The shakes are also a great choice! Karma K. was an awesome server!

Lovely downtown eatery. Staff was attentive and the food tasty. My wife and I will have to return to try more of the menu. We were only looking for something to tide over and so only had a sandwich and a sundae but both were delicious.

The food, the service and atmosphere were great! When you walk in we we’re greeted by several of the staff. Very friendly and professional. The food was hardy portions and tasty. Prices were reasonable. They make the soda. It was very refreshing. Will have to go back for a shake.

What a fun place! Complete throw back to a sweeter, nice and tasty era! I stopped in for lunch, sat at the fountain bar, and had a great time! Karly was my server and did a great job. The ham and cheese sandwich with fries was very tasty. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert!

Food was decent and fairly priced. I didn’t order a beer, but my partner noted that they’re pretty cheap at this location. The staff was friendly and inviting, greeted everyone who walked in and left. I would highly recommend!

My hubby and I drove in from Seabrook/Kemah and had lunch. Our waitress Karma was awesome! Yay Karma! The food was great … a cheeseburger & fries and a chocolate malt! (When in Rome) My hubby had the same with onion rings..yum!

I stopped by and had the1/2 lb burger and fries combo. I added jalapeños and cheese. That was the best cheeseburger fries combo I’ve had in a long time. Marisol was my server and she was very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to come back. I might try the Blue Plate Special next time.
