This Is one of the best soul food restaurants in the Acadiana area. One of their Tuesday specials is Fried Chicken. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful without being overly spicy. Each of the sides I got all had great flavor, which is crazy to have that many different dishes all with great flavor. Thanks again Mr Chad & Miss Sylvia for your hospitality.

I forgot to take a picture when I sat down. It looked so good that I couldn’t take a picture. My husband & we had bbq pork steak, ribs, Mac n cheese,yams & beans. just had to get into it and oh my goodness it was so good. The atmosphere is really beautiful the people were beautiful. Live music. Just everything 10 out of 10. I sure will try again! Sweets for days!!

My review encompasses a multitude of 5* ratings for the food, the service and the atmosphere created by the owners and their staff. My experience covers breakfast, lunch and dinner meals, the staff and the owners.
Bottomline – The food is exceptional! Many items from the menu were new to me due to me being an out of towner from the Great State of California, yet now I’m in the Great State of Louisiana and what an introduction I’ve had to date!
All the dishes I tried were phenomenal, no matter the time of day. I’ve passed along my next comment directly to the owners many times and in summary … It amazes me how all the food they cook and serve tastes the same every time and is always top-tier.
I would recommend the restaurant to my family, extended family, friends and anyone who would listen to me rant about what a great experience it is to dine at the restaurant.
Thanks again for all the Great times and Good Eatin’ … And OBTW, I’m looking forward to the drive from New Orleans to sink my teeth in again!

Visiting New Iberia and stopped for Sunday lunch at this awesome place. Not only was the service wonderful the food was just as awesome. Food served cafeteria style so items change daily. Several Southern dishes we had never tried so they have us half portions of everything from boudin casserole, dirty rice, BBQ ribs and chicken, fried ribs and sweet potatoe casserole. Everything was superb with huge portions at a fair price. Seems most folks were carrying out but we dined in … Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Glad we stopped and highly recommend
