Wanted a quick bite decided to try this cozy place. The atmosphere is lowkey! Our order has consisted as a Patty Melt w Fries, Cheeseburger w Fries and Cinnamon Roll and Carrot Cake. Definitely will go back!

Karolyn was a busy lady servicing the entire restaurant by herself. She was very friendly and kept my coffee cup full! Food was good and hot. This was our second time eating here, has been great food and service both times. Would recommend eating here! Next time I’m going to try some pie.

Absolutely a disappointment. It took an hour to be brought out cold food. Only one person in our party received a drink refill. The service left a lot to be desired, but the food was enough to make sure we never return. The owners should be ashamed. The food is flavorless and poorly cooked. The chicken fried steak is grey, and to them Cajun just means burnt. Save yourself some money and just go to the McDonald’s down the road.

It took a little over and hour for us to get our food and when we did get it, we were not happy. The burgers were extremely burnt and had no flavor. The fries were very hard. And Our water tasted like soapy lemon. It was not a good experience. Oh and not to mention a staff member joked about them having mice…something tells me she wasn’t joking.

I asked some locals for local “comfort food” and they recommended Annie’s. I don’t recommend it. First, I barely found it as it’s hidden by surrounding construction. Google kept insisting it was there or else I wouldn’t have found it. You park along the side and then walk around the building to the entrance. The place is not very clean. It was a Sunday after the lunch hour with only about 5 tables in use and still the kitchen service was very slow. The 2 servers were friendly and competent, so they weren’t the problem. The food was not worth the wait and I thought it overpriced, I got Grandma’s meatloaf with mashed potatoes, brown gravy, and green beans. It was filling but as to taste, I couldn’t tell as it was steaming hot and stayed so for a long time. As one reviewer says, “entire meal was nice and hot even 15 minutes after leaving.”

The owner was beyond friendly. The food was beyond bad. I got chicken fried chicken and an extra side of Mac and cheese. Entire meal was nice and hot even 15 minutes after leaving, but the chicken was more burned than fried, very little coating and extremely greasy on bottom. The potatoes are mashed but are thick enough to be a patty and flavorless. The chicken gravy was the most watery gravy I’ve ever had. The chicken meat quality itself was poor. Hard, chewy and lacking flavor. The Mac and cheese was a 2/5. It was ok. Boxed kraft with nothing added would have still been better. Very clean establishment and very kind workers.

To echo others. Last two visits were very disappointing. We decided to try it again. We went tonight for the Corned Beef Special. We were told when entering that we would probably have to wait a while to be served. That was a major understatement. After sitting for twenty minutes without even being acknowledged, watching two women run around the place, delivering food and clearing tables while others customers got up and asked, “are you our waitress”, we left.

Annie’s was lovely find. The bierock was delicious: beautifully seasoned meat in a luscious soft bun. The hashbrowns were lovely, seasoned with red, yellow and green sweet peppers. The fries with chicken gravy were excellent. Great place, great food.

How does this place stay open. Horrible service and food. Ordered meatloaf dinner because menu indicated better than grandma’s meatloaf. What animal did they use for the meat. Whole experience so bad I’m at loss for words. Don’t look at ceiling absolute filth !
