Food and atmosphere are awesome. We went on Saturday, and the cook had his first Sat off in 2 years, so kitchen was slow, but the waitstaff was wonderful. Had the lemon-blueberry pancakes, smoked salmon eggs Benny and biscuits with gravy!! Food was amazing!! Thank you.

Came through Spirit Lake, and stopped at Annie’s on the way through. It was phenomenal! The service was friendly. The decor was cute and funny, but the food was incredible! The lemon blueberry pancakes were amazing! Everything we ordered was really good. Will definitely be stopping here again! Very impressive for small town dining.

First and foremost, the waitresses were great, 6/5 stars! The food was awesome too, the kitchen absolutely killed it. As far as atmosphere, also awesome, felt very relaxed and at home here. Usually when I’m traveling I try not to eat at the same place twice, but I had breakfast here three days in a row, and it was great every time.

They have a sign on the wall as you walk in the door that says the service is good but have patience because it’s takes forever for the food or something like that, I don’t remember. But the food did literally take forever. There wasn’t even that many people there because we were in between breakfast and lunch. Maybe they let some of the staff go but I don’t know why our waitress didn’t pay more attention. Then she left some of our food in the window for what I think was 3 minutes before the second plate came up instead of bringing the hot food out hot. And the hashbrowns tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The food was mediocre at best.

This restaurant was so homey. The witness was so friendly and kind. They had the best decorations, which made you laugh. The food, oh my goodness the pancakes were the best things I’ve ever had. They tasted like sugar cookie pancakes with yummy fresh strawberries and tons of whipped cream on top. Seriously the BEST PANCAKES EVER!!! The hot chocolate was also so pretty and yummy. Will certainly go back!! Extremely memorable.

I honestly don’t know what all the hype is about. The amount of stuff they have on their walls proclaiming “this is not fast food, it takes time to make good food” is misleading. They serve an average diner style breakfast with an extra long wait. Fortunately I don’t frequent this area so I don’t have to come back.

Great place to eat in Spirit Lake. The restaurant was packed and very busy so it did take a bit to get our food but we expected that. I would definitely recommend Annie’s anytime! Great variety to choose from and the food was good.
