My experience at Annie Laura’s Kitchen was absolutely bussssin! The food was packed with flavor and tasted just like real Southern home cooking. Everything I ordered was sooo freaking good — seasoned to perfection, fresh, and served with love. You can tell the chefs put real care into every dish.
The only thing that didn’t quite hit the mark for me was the peach cobbler — it wasn’t bad, just not as amazing as the rest of the meal. But honestly, the rest of the food made up for it big time. I’ll definitely be coming back for another plate soon!
P.S renovations to the staff to the establishment is highly recommended!

My meatloaf was not fully cooked on Sunday, August 17, 2025. I tried to call, no one answered the phone. I stopped eating to call and give a review. My stomach is bubbling now. I paid $17 hard earned dollars of money. Waited for 45 iminutes, returned to pick up my food.. My stomach is bubbling as I do the review. I will be in misery later on the toilet later. The macaroni and cheese is very good. though. Going to choose healthier foods starting today. More fruit and salad. We have issues with our Atlanta soul food restaurants.

The food and service was great my only critic will be the collard greens they lacked flavor. The pork chops were great as well as the mac and cheese and dressing I had pound cake for dessert and it was great as well.

It’s crazy to me that there is only one registere for the diner in and drive through. The wait is super long because of that. Food great especially for the price. The turkey wings went up alot. One turkey wing as an add on in 7$.but you can get a veggie plate for the same price.

Food is pretty good here. I like the pork chops. Seasoned tp perfection, always hot and at a great temp as if its cook to order. My 4th time eating here. They always suggest items for new comers.

Food was not good to me. Okay soul Food. Little too salty. Collard greens tasted from cans? Not fresh. Turkey adds salt to the greens. Find a way to season greens without meat. Maybe season with fresh seasoning for greens found at Publix

Annie Laura’s is a true staple in the Riverdale community, an old school, family-owned spot that’s still serving up comfort food the way it’s supposed to be.
This place is the epitome of a mom-and-pop restaurant you never want to see disappear. I’ve been coming here for years and my order never changes: smothered pork chops and rice with lima beans. Every bite feels like home.
It had been a while since my last visit, and I couldn’t help but notice the plates seem a little smaller than I remember.. but the flavor? Still top tier. The line is usually long, and for good reason.
If you’ve never been, do yourself a favor and check them out. Annie Laura’s is one of those places that keeps the soul of the neighborhood alive.

First ill start with the food tasted like it was from yesterday definitely wasn’t cooked the day of purchase the pork chops overcooked just tough and dry . I get it pig feet does get broken up but it just looks like I got thr bottom of the pot .Service was OK they are pleasant and as far as atmosphere..yea that’s great they have a drive thru but that’s more for fast food …When people buying soul food we like to go in and see how the food looks what catches your eye and I’ve been to multiple restaurants where is like that. This is by far the only 1 that’s like . Will I return not sure just wasn’t impressed for my 1st time here.

I’m really upset this place fell off. The food is not the same. I had smothered pork chops, greens, Mac & cheese (literally noodles with cheese) and a side of dressing. All my food was SALTY! Salt must’ve been the only seasoning they had in the kitchen. This used to be my little go to spot when I didn’t feel like cooking soul food, but I’ll cook from home from now on. Nobody was friendly. Everybody looked upset to be at work. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here, but I’ve been in customer since they were in the small building before they moved into the Mrs. Winners. I spent $31 on a jar of salt

Before the plandemic, the food here was really good. Now, the food is not so good as it once was. The quality took a drastic downward fall as they are serving dressing that tastes like stove top and to make matters worse, the dressing burnt. The cornbread is dry and the Mac & Cheese is just cheese with hardly no Mac . This food is cooked with no soul, love or flavor.
