A little off the beaten path but we’ll worth it! Excellent breaded steak with a homemade cooked down red sauce. The beef was sliced paper thin and flavorful. Everything here was top notch. You could even tell the oil for the fries was fresh! Finish your entree with an excellent cannoli, made in house daily.

We had the breaded beef, and the italian beef. Im in the area for a wedding was looking for a GREAT Italian Beef, not that Portillo garbage. This place is fantastic. I have no idea how there’s not a line out the door all day/everyday. Im going back tomorrow to see if I can take same back to STL with me. If youre anywhere in this area, stop here. (I forgot to take Pictures of the sandwiches, but the 6″ was plenty.)

I have been a customer for a year or two now. I don’t eat much takeout food but when I do I am very picky about where I go. I love supporting my local businesses especially if they are awesome. I don’t often leave reviews but I will today. Yesterday my wife and I went to Annerino’s after a long day and not wanting to go home and cook dinner so we stopped in to grab something to eat. Now I usually stay away from steak sandwiches unless I’m near the only Ricobene’s in Illinois since they closed the Orland location it’s been years since I’ve had a steak sandwich worth eating let alone talking about most other places serve what can be best described and beaten to death slow roasted boot leather with tons of fat and gristle. BUT not at Annerino’s this was the best breaded steak sandwich I’ve had in decades. The Big Al- 12” toasted torpedo of crusty Italian bread STUFFED with tender,thinly pounded,lightly breaded steaks that could feed 3 people. I recommend trying one of these for yourself and they do make a smaller 6” portion as well. Overall some great choices for Italian specialty’s and deserts. I will definitely be back for another steak sandwich soon.

Absolutely phenomenal, we came by yesterday around noon. The gentleman that took our order was absolutely awesome. I had ordered a curd burger and man, was it good!! My co workers had ordered a beef and some hotdogs, they all loved it!! We will DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

Best Chicago food in the area hands down. The Italian beef and combo are perfect. The sausage has a nice kick to it but not overpowering. The breaded steak sandwich is fantastic. The giardinera is so good. The Chicago style hot dogs are fantastic. I live right down the street and often ask myself why don’t I eat here more. On top of everything the owner is a great guy and always thanks you for your business. I didn’t even mention the free delicious canola he threw in for me. I could go on but I’ll finish up here. If you’re hungry and in the area, you will not be disappointed.

We were looking for an Italian beef and sausage combo sammich that tasted the way a Chicago icon should taste. We found it at Annerino’s. Que the happy tears. As disappointed as we were when Sizzles closed, we are happy that a great place is there now. The owner was extremely nice. The restaurant is very clean. The combo has a generous amount of tasty meat on fresh bread. It comes with fries. Bonus! I also ordered the eggplant fries. Why are these not a thing everywhere??? I think I am addicted already. The cannoli are filled to order and oh so delicious. We will be back.

As self acclaimed connoisseurs of finding a good beef sandwich when we’re surrounded by them in the Chicagoland area, hands down this was one of the Best Italian beef sandwiches we’ve ever had. The meat was lean, tender, moist and perfectly seasoned. The cheese was wonderfully gooey. But the bread? The bread we will be bringing up in conversations for quite a while. The bread was SO fresh, perfectly lightly toasted, held up against the au jus, and was still soft and fluffy. Hands down, discovering Annerino’s was a great start to our 2026.
