It’s always a good experience, the quality of the Chocolate is the finest in my opinion. Everyone is always kind and helpful. My only complaint is the tipping option on the computer. I didn’t take a star off for this but it seems like a trend for the last several years, since Covid maybe. It bothers me and a lot of other people. I’m a huge tipper, I worked in restaurants for years as a tipped employee but this has gone to far in retail establishments. It makes the customer uncomfortable. I’ve had many discussions with friends and many people on facebook. Please pay your employees and don’t have them mention a tipping option when it’s right there in front of you to make your own decision.

We dropped into Annedore’s Fine Chocolate on a whim and were immediately greeted by the loveliest woman, who walked us through some of her personal favorites with so much care and enthusiasm. We picked out a variety of treats, and every single one hit the spot. If you’re craving something truly delicious or want to treat yourself (or someone else) to high-quality sweets, this is the place. A total gem.

How did I not know about this magical place sooner?! Not only is the building adorable, the shop itself is a little slice of a fancy Willy Wonka! The store is laid out neatly and FILLED with all kinds of chocolate and sweets. I love that you can even watch them making their goodies! The staff was so very friendly, kind, warm, and welcoming. We didn’t know what to choose (1 of everything?!) but chose to get 6 specialty pieces, some toffee and a gift for Christmas. The specialty non bins were all SO good. We split them when we got in the car and there wasn’t one we didn’t like! Their chocolate is top quality and you can taste the love, thoughtfulness and passion for the craft in every piece. This place is a must try hidden gem in Kansas City!

Wow!! Our first time here. We were looking for local chocolates to send for a Christmas gift and found them. So many wonderful items to choose from. My favorite a Plaza light. Free samples. Easy parking out front. Very tasteful displays. Can’t wait to come back!! #annedores

Such a cute little chocolate shop! They make their chocolate locally and they have great seasonal products. Kathy was such a wonderful salesperson. We really enjoyed our visit and all our chocolate!

This place a gem for those who have a sweet tooth. The chocolate is smooth and creamy. My favorite is the peanut butter dream or peanut butter cup which is amazing… double dipped malted milk balls are delicious and very chocolatey, the homemade caramels are also a must. I stop by here whenever I’m in the city and am always greeted by friendly, helpful women.
