We have always had a pleasant time eating at Anna’s. The portions are huge, and we always take home a portion of our meals. The Anna’s Special Calzone is so flavorful and can’t be finished in one meal, it’s so large. The service is fast and friendly, and we enjoy our meals in a relaxed atmosphere. The prices reflect a great value for the amount of food you get. We are repeat customers and will happily eat here again.

My parents used to buy pizza here when I was 10 years old. Fast forward to me being 32 and it has definitely changed since then. It is NOT as good as the prices make it seem. Overpriced for mediocre pizza. Got the Buffalo chicken and it had barely any flavor. The crust was almost undercooked but the cheese on the pizza was burnt??? It makes no sense. The only saving grace was the Buffalo chicken wings. They were pretty good. I did get wicked heartburn from the whole meal but thats more of my digestive system rather than the food lol. Overall I’d give that pizza a 4/10. Ill give them another try later in the future for a more basic pizza like pepperoni since thats what I feel like this place has become worth of… we spent 51 dollars on a MEDIUM BUFFALO PIZZA AND 10 WINGS!!! Not worth it at all… pizza time down the street is better… the lady at the counter was really really nice though..

I ordered this pizza from DoorDash. I don’t understand why they don’t tape the box shut if they have a third party delivering their pizza. I added a photo of the pizza being left on my doorstep. The box isn’t even closed all the way! After reading other reviews, I’m starting to think this establishment is just plain careless. I usually order from Queen pizza right down the street. Wanted to try something new. I’ll be going back to Queen Pizza from now on. This pizza looks better than it tastes

Been ordering from this restaurant for about 20 years and although the food has gotten increasingly worse, we continued to give them a chance. Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back. We ordered wings, a large pizza and a chicken salad. The delivery came very fast and we soon determined why. The pizza was grossly undercooked and the salad looked as if it had been out for days. Chicken was old, dry, stringy, rubbery and bland, lettuce was very wilted and wet in places, and brown in others, and there were old, poisonous tasting mushrooms in there. We called back to voice our concerns and the first thing they said was, “well, no one else has ever complained “. I find that very hard to believe but regardless if no one else has, it’s your job to listen to my complaint and work to make it better. They didn’t. I will never patron this restaurant again and the food is sub par…worse than sub par, and Anna’s Restaurant and Pizza of East Hartford should be ashamed of themselves. I do not recommend them to anyone. Find somewhere else to go and don’t make the same mistake we did by spending our hard earned money to support this restaurant who does not care about the quality of their food, their customers and hence the community. Literally garbage. Zoom in on my pics to see the quality of food they served.

Every order we get from Anna’s via delivery is outstanding thanks to Angelo. He is always on time or earlier than expected. Angelo is always Friendly and courteous. Angelo is definitely the reason we get delivery. He is a valued employee and I hope you realize that. We look forward to seeing his smiling face. We are not related but I wish we were.

I am very saddened and disappointed with the customer service I received tonight. My delivery took over an hour for one but I was still patiently waiting. I get my food and give the elderly driver a generous tip. I sit down to eat and this is what I open the box too. Not only that the pizza is not made the way I ordered it. I call them to let them know and was treated very nastily! The woman was very rude and nonchalant and was almost laughing that I spent my hard earned money on slop! I placed a delivery order for a reason and she insisted I come pick up another pizza because the drivers supposedly left for the evening! Like look at it, would any of you eat this? Its uncooked as well. I will never in my life order from here again nor will my friends and family!!

Anna’s is pretty good. Their pizzas and grinders are great, but other recipes and ingredients appear to have been changed over the years (like their marinara sauce). Probably fine for most, I have stayed away from other menu items as the taste wasn’t as expected or how I remembered (personal preference).

Yea, hard no on this place. Looks like a cool little spot that was always busy. Service was good at first then they vanished until my calzone appeared almost 30 minutes later. I went with Anna’s Calzone and whoever made it achieved the Taco Bell of Calzone award for placing all fillings on one half, then the cheese on the other. Pretty much like Taco Bell lazily does it. They’re very proud of the product from the prices.
The calzone looked beautiful when it arrived but the sausage, hamburger and other filling were flavorless. Not even the sauce helped on the side. There’s two tables in here and my soda was empty. Server came over and asked if I needed more napkins???? How about a drink to get the taste out of my mouth.
