Anna’s Restaurant & Deli has been a Siesta Key/Sarasota tradition since 1971. We are the oldest eatery on Siesta Key and known for our huge ‘Famous Specialty Sandwiches’, Anna’s Famous Sauce, as well as for serving the highest quality meats, cheeses and daily fresh made salads. The best sandwiches! Order on your way to the beach and enjoy! Perfect while sitting in the sand, drinking a beer and listening to the ocean. My favorite is the surfer on marble bread. Love the taste and the value. I always get a pickle on the side.

Really good sandwiches. Not the best I’ve had but very good! Friendly and fast service. The coldcuts are sliced perfectly. Had the corned beef and the surfer. They do start to run out of some things toward the end of the day but that’s because everything is fresh daily. If you want a really solid sandwich I’d recommend them.

The sandwiches here are ABSOLUTELY worth it! The meat, cheese, and cucumbers are freshly cut, which combines with their Anna’s Sauce to make a downright fantastic sandwich.
The sandwiches are also packed tall, so you won’t be leaving hungry. In fact, I can often only eat half before I’m full– and I’m not a small person!
The employees are always super friendly when I go in as well, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed and beachy. All in all, a wonderful place for lunch.
Addendum 12/23/24: They have souvenir cups! Seven bucks and change for free refills. Plus, they’re super cute.

This place is delicious! I love trying sandwich places and I came upon this one in a search, we traveled from St Pete. It’s right near the beach and good parking, we came towards closing.
The staff was nice and friendly. Food was quick to get out. I’m a sucker for turkey on pumpernickel. My husband got The Surfer. That sauce is fantastic, it is magic. The turkey was so light and was so tender. My husband was amazed at how good it was. Do get the potato salad, it is super yummy.
We will go back, I highly recommend!

I’ve already written a review for this place but had to write another because I hd another killer sandwich there. I got the Sticky Bird this time and it was excellent. The calabrian chili sauce was a little spicy but was the perfect complement to the chicken cutlet. Two times, different sandwiches and both home runs.

I found myself passing through Southbridge Mall, not a very bustling plaza, but the line of people drew my attention to a rather inconspicuous door. Behind it hid the queue of those eager to taste the best sandwich stand on Siesta Key.
After studying the short menu on the wall and chatting with a regular guest of this deli, I decided to try the pastrami and roast beef sandwiches. The friendly cashier clarified my preferences for vegetables and sauce in the sandwich, and I left to explore the walls adorned with pictures of Sara Sota’s beautiful beaches and historical photos of the establishment.
The sandwiches were ready quite quickly, each neatly labeled and sealed with sticky tape to prevent them from unfolding on the way. At home, my husband and I tried the sandwiches, and it was one of the best pastrami experiences of my life! Wow!
For this price, you could savor half of it! Incredibly delicious, excellent service, and affordable prices!
