I came to eat on a Wednesday night, the food was amazing but what really set the experience apart was our server Scott. He was so kind, thoughtful, and funny. Our drinks were never empty, our orders came out pretty quick, and he had great conversation and recommendations (great for me who can never decide on anything) the pastas were so delicious and the bread that came with them was just top notch. Never given bread too much thought but OMG it was crunchy and so flavorful to go with the cheesy sauce of the pasta. Thank you for the recommendation Scott!

Came here for the first time. The place is very cute, decorate for Christmas. They were busy and I was worried because we had to be at an appointment in an hour. But we were seated right away and the food did not take long as well. Our waitress was so sweet and nice. The reason why I gave them a 3 star is because I order a coke and my daughter order a dr. Pepper and both taste so flat. So we switched it to sprite and still the same thing. It taste flat and water down. Also, I order fried chicken but received smoother chicken. I didnt say anything because we were on a time limit. I still ate most of it and it was ok but not what I ordered. My daughter fried were cold and she only got a handful of shrimps. I will give them a try again if we are back in the area.

I was warmly greeted when I entered. I would say that the interior needed some attention, but given the A sanitation grade, I dismissed it as old and dingy. The staff was very friendly. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, and he said they were “okay, just not hot”. I felt the same way about my brisket sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. We also ordered the fries, which were hot and tasty. I would go on someone else’s suggestion, just not on my own.

The cold beer selection was refreshing, and our friendly server made us feel right at home. I absolutely loved the giant salad, and the onion rings were some of the best I’ve! My boyfriend raved about the crab cake burger, paired perfectly with sweet potato fries. Overall, a great meal and a delightful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Just finished dinner at Annabelle’s and our waiter Scott was incredible. Honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever had at a restaurant. He stayed on top of everything the entire time and was amazing with our kids which made the night so much easier and more enjoyable.
The service was first class from start to finish. We will definitely be back and will be asking for Scott next time.

My husband and I visited New Bern two weeks ago and stopped here for lunch. It was truly a great choice. The food was wonderful and well seasoned. My husband said his shepherd’s pie was the best he’s ever had. I was thrilled with my beef tips which weren’t the usual boring bland tips, but instead were tender and flavorful. Our server, Ginnie, was the absolute BEST! She was friendly, kind, and did a great job. The food is affordable and delicious. We hope to visit again soon.

Love their food especially their steaks and crab dip. Service is always great. Atmosphere is friendly. Reasonable prices. The decor could use some updating but still love it. We make sure to eat there when we’re passing through because it’s so good!
