Unique aesthetic and good drinks. I liked that the theme was present but not overboard. They had a variety of clever drinks and some tasty duck fries. The bartender was very nice, too. It wasn’t that busy so we had no issues with seating.

Crab cake is absolutely killer (that’s why I don’t have pictures of it)! The best I’ve ever had just because they use more crab meat than filler and the filler compliments the crab! Comes with bacon Brussels sprouts (amazing and crunchy) and side of homemade mashed potatoes. I also got the duck fat fries which were insanely crunchy but they were a little too heavily seasoned (little too much salt). The atmosphere inside makes you feel like you’re walking into an Annabelle horror movie which is also very cool.

I was visiting the DMV area for the holidays/vacation from Dubai. Being a resident of Dubai for the past decade, my expectations are usually high when it comes to the F&B industry. I can say that Annabel Lee is best place in Baltimore and one of the best places I’ve even been to. Amazing ambiance, tasty food, sublime service. Kurt, the owner, is the friendliest. Jess the bartender was positive, friendly and generous (ask for tea time shots). Overall the experience was very positive and the Edgar Allan Poe theme of the place makes it even more wonderful. I would definitely come again for sure. Highly recommended! #5stars

The decor here was on point – you can definitely see the Poe influence. I ordered the Caesar salad – and the house dressing is EXCELLENT. I kind of wanted to lick my plate. They had no problem adding grilled chicken, which was juicy and cooked perfectly.

I love the wings here! The burger is also always a solid option. I always go for the sweet potato fries as a side and really like them! I’ve also had their dips and they are always so so tasty. It’s a great local bar food place, and the staff is kind.

A nice little find thanks to Restaurant Week. The Edgar Allan Poe theme brought me in, but the butternut squash risotto will bring me back. Wasn’t expecting much from the mac ‘n’ chz, but it was the perfect twang of cheesy goodness. I added the peppers and onion option, but it didn’t really need the help. The highlight was the bourbon-based cocktail, Spectacles – a hot toddy type that was the antidote to a cold, January night.

Great little corner establishment. Opened at 4pm on Saturday. Food was pretty good. Southwest risotto was a real risotto and the Mac and cheese was homemade but what really made this place special was the classic music and the great artwork everywhere dedicated to Poe and Baltimore. The wait staff was on point with keeping up drinks and conversation (tavern style :)). I loved it.

A terrific Baltimore neighborhood gem. The brussel sprouts were amazing. And the meatloaf is as good as they say. The mashed potatoes and the green beans were just as good. I know he’s planning on selling but I selfishly hope it’s not right away because I want to come back.

I live around the corner and have yet to come here. After sitting down, the waiter spills water on me…a bit. Oh well.

A very unique place to go eat and drink. They have really good food! I love the theme of Edger Allen Poe that is even in the menu. The place is decorated with bits of poetry across the walls, even the bathrooms are decorated. The staff is friendly as well. All around great place!
