Our car broke down but we were able to coast off the freeway to just outside the bakery parking lot. The place was closed, but one of the workers was just leaving and stayed to help connect us to a towing service, and recommend auto repair shops and lodging nearby. He even gave us the last pastries of the day (a cinnamon roll and an almond croissant) and they were absolutely delicious, I can’t imagine how good they would have been fresh out of the oven.

The best coffee and bakery in this area, you can be sure that everything what you will find here is fresh and delicious! All the bakery, salads, soups, jam, lemonade and etc is totally family production

This place isn’t what it used to be. Seems like they changed a lot during the pandemic and never made any effort to change back. They were out of almost everything, though it was a bit later in the day. The mini marionberry pie was good, but not quite as good as I remembered. Nowhere to sit inside. The outside is lovely, but the heat was sweltering. They no longer allow use of their indoor restrooms and instead want you to use portable restrooms in the parking lot. Used to be a place worth stopping by, but now I think I’d rather keep driving.

You are expected to use sani cans. No place to wash hands. I was told to rinse them at the sink. When I insisted I would like soap she handed me dish soap. To sit you have to eat outside. It was very warm. You can stand to eat inside. No prices on sandwich menu. Really!?

Great scenery, but unfortunately terrible experience with my $7 drink. Ordered an iced latte and the espresso was totally shocked/ burnt, couldn’t taste anything but that. I feel a place this unique should have excellent coffee if people are stopping out of the way for it.

If you’ve never driven through Cashmere before, don’t make the incorrect assumption that it will be a quaint mountain town like Leavenworth. We decided to make the trek to Anjou and were disappointed to realize it was a farm style building on the side of the high way. Inside, it was pretty standard fair – some sandwiches, sweets, and espresso based drinks. It was all good, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way like we did. There are options in Leavenworth that are on-par or better.

This was the perfect place to stop and rest on our way back to Seattle. It is peaceful and calm with some pretty views. The iced Chai was delicious, and the Brie and sun-dried tomato sandwich was amazing!

Always great baked goods! The country loaf is large, tasty, and naturally sourdough. And we can’t resist the “jamon beurre” (ham and butter) baguette sandwiches. So good! We try to schedule our trips from Seattle to Chelan so that we can stop while Anjou is open.

Best bakery within 100+ miles, nothing comes even close. Bread, pastries, desserts and sundry collection are top notch. Don’t hesitate, stop if you’re near.

Stopped by here on my way to Chelan and the coffee was impressive. Good store vibe and stylish decor. No flushing toilets but they do offer honey bucket and it’s very clean
