I would give 1 star but food is really good, their cook knows what they are doing, but……. the waiter and how she is towards customers plays a huge part that effects the whole dinning experience.
The waiter we got was in a mood. Dry smile and very unwelcoming. When at the table, someone else at the table was asking another about the pancakes and waiter arely ( I believe is her name) rudely and loudly said “ONE AT A TIME!” leaving my mother feeling bad, which also causes for the table behind us to even turn and give the waiter a look of disappointment. That right there made the whole experience horrible.
Never have I seen a waiter speak to someone in such a way. My husbad who was a waiter while growing up for 10 years was shocked with her attitude saying she should chang jobs if shes so unhappy in this type of work environment. As for food it was very well made and tasted very good but just hope their waiters improves their table manners and learn to have more patience with elderly customers!
From what I’ve seen from other reviews there’s a few waiters with issues of an attitude here. Clearly something the owner needs to work on improving.

Always get my favorite cheesy delicious enchiladas there! Today Thurs. Jan. 15th at lunchtime they dropped the ball! Very little cheese inside enchiladas and also very little cheese on top. They have never looked so skimmed like this before. I hope this is not a permanent change to their cheese enchiladas, because otherwise wont be worth the trip.

Sorry Anita’s #2 on monte cristo was pretty bad today. It’s my second time there, my deluxe Mexican plate had cold enchiladas, over cheesed on the top, like super loaded cheese, my two tacos feel apart and had water moist on my plate from my tacos. Waitress never brought my lemons and never checked on me. Sorry no tip mam. We wanna support our moms and shops, but not when you experience this. Owners be checking your number # 2 business.

Taquitos mexicanos used to be my go to from how good they are and had plenty of meat. Today was different, they put barley enough meat for 2 taquitos. The tortillas were overlapped so close to eachother and the amount of meat was a joke. Definitely not coming back if I have to pay the same price for less

One of our go-to causal Mexican restaurants. So far I have only gone for breakfast, and it’s so good. I look forward to going to Anita’s Cafe on the weekends. Staff is great and we have always gotten fast service as well. Love this cozy little restaurant!

Want to feel like you’re at home? This is a hidden jem!! The food was delicious and fresh tasting. Plates are well served, and buffet is available. Staff was super friendly, and service was fast.

Great food. I got the quesadillas plate. They were delicious. Had a great waitress serving us. Went with my younger brother, older sister and B-I-L. Great place to eat and enjoy family time.

Ordered fajita plate and specifically!! asked for burnt onions because I hate raw onions and I said to make sure they were done correctly. I also asked for the tortillas to be cooked longer like almost crispy.so I finally get my plate and I asked if the onions were cooked the guy says yeah. So I said I’m going to check. Which I’m glad I did the onions were raw and the amount they gave me was like 4 or 5 strands.so I told the guy what’s this I specifically asked for my onions to be burnt. So he said to wait so he can do some onions like I had asked nicely from the start. So I waited and waited.30 minutes wait and my food was cold the tortillas and fajitas were cardboard Not Happy!!!
