Everything about this place was what I search for in a Cafe! It was homey, comfortably lit, had a diner atmosphere, and the service was amazing! Everyone was so kind and could make conversation easily, but still served the food quickly without diminishing the quality. It was absolutely delicious and I’d come here every day if I could!

The place to go for breakfast, especially if you are hungry, as the portions are more than generous. Located right on hwy 14. Fairly large dining room but there are signs warning that there may be a wait during busy times like Sunday mornings, so be patient, it is worth the wait. Picture shows the Badger Skillet, hash browns with bacon, ham, and sausage smothered in sausage gravy and cheese, with two eggs on top. I ate about 1/3 of it and took home enough for breakfast for the next two days.

Now that’s some old school, down home, Midwest diner food done right. Went for breakfast, got the corned beef hash skillet and a Belgium waffle. Huge portions, well seasoned, reasonable prices and nice folks.

Anita’s Cafe was a refreshing little treat. Of course I went there for breakfast.

The service was great. Our server was attentive and helpful. I asked for her preference between the Badger Griddle and Hash Griddle. She gave me honest feedback on what she thought. Then they had another lady who went around making sure everyone was topped up on coffee.

The atmosphere inside was very relaxed and classic. You have like a little diner side right when you walk in. On the other is their little dinner seating area.

After asking the server about her preferences, I went with the Badger Griddle. It was amazing. The mixture of the sausage gravy with the cheddar cheese makes for a great combination.

All in all, I would recommend this little cafe for just about anybody. It was a nice time out, and cheap for the quality and amount of food.

The French toast was so good. Juicy burger & crispy fries. Everything’s on point. Definitely will be back when in the area.

Absolutely excellent food. Really friendly wait staff. Fast turn around. Perfect spot if yr out for House on the Rock. (I love that I’m from Florida and the fruit bowl I got at Anita’s was heads above anything I’d receive back home for the low cost. Fresh everything.)

Well dang it, the food was so good I forgot to take pics! Seated ourselves in a booth and were promptly greeted and brought coffee. Ordered the rise and shine with a side of hash browns, and the country Benedict With a side of pancakes. The food here is perfect. Exactly what you are looking for when you go to a diner. The service is fast and friendly. The coffee was good and hot. If I lived here, I’d be a regular!

Found this place while visiting Spring Green to go to the House On The Rock. Had lunch there one day and breakfast the next. Everything was very good… recommend the Country Benedict. Our waitress both days was Ashley. She was helpful, efficient and always smiling!

The menu is a very solid one. I love country fried steak and theirs is top three I’ve ever eaten. I also do not like pancakes, but theirs have something fiercely delicious going on. The garlic curds are the perfect amount of garlic, not over powering. I have yet to have a bad experience there. The food, service, and people that work there are all quite amazing and considerate. I’m 100% going to keep visiting.
