Cute little restaurant. We had chicken pho and spicy beef pho. It was delicious! They served us a plate with lime, bean sprouts, and spicy chili oil as well. The table had plenty of napkins and some extra sauces (soy sauce and sriracha). It was a lovely experience and I will happily come back. The broth was flavorful, noodles were perfect, and meat was cooked well. Only warning is that it’s a small place so if you plan to bring a lot of people, might want to call ahead to make sure they have capacity. Overall absolutely so happy we tried this restaurant! We tried it because it was recommended to me and I’m so glad we did.

I tried Anise Pho on Glenwood Ave and thought the experience was overall okay. The food was decent, but the flavors didn’t really stand out and felt a bit muted. Prices are on the higher side for what you get. I also noticed some sanitation issues that were concerning. Still, service was fine and the meal was acceptable, just not somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit.

My daughter and I met up with some friends for dinner here. My daughter had been craving some Pho, so one of the friends mentioned this place because she said they had at least one gluten free vegan option for me.

The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived, but they had one table left. The service was not stupendous and the restaurant/bathroom were fairly dirty, which we didn’t like. The menu did have some gluten free vegan options for me at least.

I was able to get the spring rolls made vegan with tofu and the peanut sauce. I also ordered the Bun Rice bowl (although you could still order a vegan Pho that is gluten free as well). The Bun Rice Bowl when vegan, though, didn’t have any sauce whatsoever because they just took off the fish sauce. So I poured some of my peanut sauce from the spring rolls on it and then asked for more. Ultimately, it was okay but not my favorite because of lack of flavor. But, if you’re looking for a vegan Pho option, then this may be a good option.

Amazing place to go with family or friends. Very good Pho, Soup, and sandwiches. Sevice was very friendly and thoughtful. Great place to get a bite on an Autumn afternoon.

this is the first vietnamese restaurant i tried in raleigh and it was great! we ordered pho dac biet (special combo), pho ga (chicken), and fried tofu.

the beef pho was flavorful and aromatic. it was a generous portion for $16. otherwise $14 for one protein choice. the chicken pho was just okay for me. not as flavorful as the beef pho. the fried tofu was a great appetizer. lots of tofu for only $5.

the restaurant is on the small side but that’s what you expect in a downtown restaurant. would definitely come back in the future!

They let me dine with 30 minutes to close which was really nice. Pork bbq bap buns was really good. Just wish there was more meat in them. Got the $17 beef pho and it was really good. Very flavorful broth and the ham inside was interesting. I really enjoyed my meal

My first time there or even eating Pho and I must say I will definitely be a repeater. That Beef rib was falling off the bone, the whole meal was very delicious and seasoned great without being over bearing.
