I have lived in Antigo for over 5 years and live only 1 block from the bar but have never been into it until tonight. The bar looked clean and the food was ok but the bartender was the worst I have ever seen. She acted like she hated her job or she hated anyone who wasn’t a local. She spent more time outside smoking than taking care of her customers. She was very unfriendly. She should not be in the customer service bartending business. I left her a $20 tip while she was outside smoking because I felt sorry for her attitude . My first and last time there. No wonder that place is always dead and only the local drunks go there. Keep up the terrible work !

Quintessential Midwestern dive bar. Visited from out of town and this quickly became our favorite place to grab a drink. Good, homemade bloody mary mix and the owner is a pro – welcoming and friendly.

Place is okay. It is indeed a bar. Rustic and giving very “dive bar” energy. Not bad to be honest. Just alot of very brave and confident men who most of time extremely drunk. If you need liqour or beer, and want to be left alone, this is the place!

We stopped here for the first time for lunch and a few cold ones. The menu had a variety, and prices were very reasonable. The food was great, and bartender was friendly. Would definitely stop again.

Randy, the owner, makes you feel right at home. True neighborhood pub with great food! i am adding Animals to my phone as we will come back just to say hi, have a drink and/or a meal.
