Angry Dumplings was a happening spot the night we dinner there. We were somewhat early about 5pm and it was already packed. Even though folks where standing and waiting (mainly for to go) we were able to catch a table in the corner.
Tho the order taker was brand new and got our order wrong (left off an item) we still had plenty of food to split and we’re very satisfied.
Had the Pork Angry Dumplings, which were good, but nothing special if you’ve had them elsewhere. I believe we had Grandpa’s Noodles which was basically ramen and tho it was tasty, it had too much salt for our liking.
It seemed that the staff was very eager to help customers, giving suggestions on how to eat certain dishes and what sauces may as flavors etc. definitely a staple in this area.

Truly the best dumplings I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot, haha). The red curry is absolutely amazing, always cooked to perfection with loads of flavor! Everything is homemade, the owners arrive at 3A to begin cooking, you can taste the love in every bite! It’s a casual restaurant with elevated flavors! Your belly will leave happy!

If you are ever in Knoxville go get food from here. You will not be disappointed. My sucre found this place and we got take out while staying over a night on our way to Nashville to visit family. The place is cute and the service was outstanding. The lady checking us out checked our bags to ensure we had everything. Not many places so that. Our food was ready ahead of our pickup time. We got our food and made our way back to the hotel. Let me say this did was amazing. Every bite had so much flavor. It was worth the price. Do not look at the price and just go there. The dumplings were so good. The chili crisp was great on everything. The noodles were cooked too perfection. We tried so many things. The taro buns were so good. The only thing we didn’t care for was the mushroom rice but everything else was an experience and so delicious! I also tried a peach/passion fruit slushie and it was so good! We will be back and I’ll recommend this place to everyone. Even the plain rice had more flavor then what you usually get. This whole meal was a highlight of the year.

My new favorite spot for Asian food in Knoxville. Lord have mercy was it good!

Do not sleep on the lemony sweet tea, the angry chicken dumplings or the dry noodles with beef and angry sauce. A side of fresh made asian cucumbers would also not disappoint.

If you like boba tea, they have a fairly extensive offering… but I enjoy their fruit teas personally.

It can get busy but has ample indoor seating and restrooms.

Parking in this small plaza is a little tight but I’ve found a spot both times I’ve visited so far.

This is a must try if you live in the Knoxville area.

This place exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they take pride in quality and consistency. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere made the entire experience even better. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

This place is great! The restaurant is comfortable and welcoming. You can order your food at the front and seat yourself. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I did not know what to get and a staff member gave me some recommendations. I got the grandpa‘s noodles and the angry pork dumplings. They were both amazing, so amazing that I got another order of the dumplings to go! I also got a Boba tea on the way out, everything was great! I will definitely be returning!

The experience was great! They were very busy, and there was a bit of a line, however that was worth it as once getting up to the desk the cashier was extremely knowledgeable on the products and gave great recommendations. The food was fantastic and had an unforgettable amount of flavor. We shared two different types of noodles, dumplings, and buns.

For the noodles we ordered one spicy and one not spicy, both were great though I definitely favored the spicy noodles.

One note, the buns dough was a bit sweeter than I expected. It was not bad, just not my preference.

Overall great experience, looking forward to visiting again.

One of the best restaurants in Knoxville. These are the best dumplings I’ve ever had outside of Chinatown and the best wonton soup I’ve ever eaten in my life. The guy that owns the place is incredibly friendly and the food is superior to most things you will find in our area. It’s also affordable.

First time here. We got the Angry Dumplings. A trio of steamed buns. And a vegan kung Pao chicken noodle dish.

The angry Dumplings have a lot of oil and fat on them. I probably wouldn’t order them again, but I would get the regular dumplings. The filling is quite tasty and the best that I have had so far! I do wish the dumplings were a big less dressed for the angry dumplings though.

The steamed buns were good. We liked the black sesame the best!

The kung Pao vegan chicken was impressive. The vegan chicken, was quite good. I would believe it was chicken if I didn’t know. The flavors over all was pretty good.

The soy sauce and the chili sauce…. AMAZING. Some of the best I have tried! I would probably come back to dip the regular dumplings in it!

The price point was pretty decent. It wasn’t crazy for the food that we got.

The vibe is nice. Cute plants on the window and the art is fun!

Overall definitely worth checking out!

Amazing food!! We ordered the wonton meals, and boba tea. The place was packed, and people ordered ahead of time. We waited 30 mins, but it was well worth it. I suggest visiting for lunch, and ordering ahead of time for dinner when it’s the busiest. But it’s well worth the wait.
