We went to dinner on Monday. It was my birthday and the meal was excellent. I I had a five and three-quarter pound lobster and it was worth every penny. Service was great. They surprise me with a birthday celebration with dessert and just had a great time. This will be our once a month dinner.

We weren’t impressed wont eat here again. I got a lobster crostini appetizer it was salty and reminded me of a seafood salad you would pick up at the grocery store but with slightly better quality. My husband got a 50$ crab boil with a sligtly off tasting lobster tail one bunch of small thin crab legs a small potato and a very chewy piece of corn and over cooked shrimp. I got jambalaya which was probably the worst the shrimp where salty and over cooked the sausage was spicy but still had no flavor the rice had a bit of a odd texture as well. The food is edible but for the price I expected alot more. We spent over 80 dollars I could of just made it at home and got bigger portions and more flavor for that price. The staff was kind and helpful and answered our questions.

I’ve been an Angry Crab goer since Phoenix like early 2016 and always getting my dungeness. I had to try out the Nevada branch and relieved to know I have one closer to me with my relocation here. So right off the bat I was welcomed on a slow 2pm this past Sunday.
Noted were:
-more crab utensils at Henderson!! Like all the tools they could give me I got. (One time in a central PHX branch we were given stones that look like small potatoes to crack open crabs because they didn’t have enough utensils on a busy night)
-my waiter was very prompt, helpful, and pleasant
-my order came out under cooked initially but they quickly took it back and cooked me a whole different dunggy and got my feast on until food coma
-the mango margarita was sweetly refreshing

Angry Crab Shack is awesome! The decor reminds you of an East Coast Crab Shack along the coast with some picnic tables and white paper! The food is good and hot and the service is excellent. They also have a special room off the side if you have a large group or you want a private party, which is so cool.

We went here for an event for one of my Facebook groups. I feel like for an event they definitely needed more staff, we waited a long time to even order drinks, so we just ordered our food at that time.
The service was not that great, they never came over to offer refills on our drinks, or see how we were doing, but as I said they didn’t have enough staff. It was not the staffs fault, they were running around like crazy trying to assist everyone.
The gumbo was amazing, all that I hoped it would be, the rice & beans not so much. They lacked flavor, I only ate a couple bites, still paid for it, but normally a staff would inquire about why it wasn’t eaten. My friend got the seafood boil, which she said tasted great, but for the price the portion was small. She ran out of water half through, & didn’t get any more til the end when people started leaving.

I will preface this review stating that this restaurant seems to specialize in seafood boils and we did not try that. The atmosphere was above average and our server was great. We ordered Clam Chowder, Fried Shrimp w/ fries and cole slaw, Shrimp & grits, and garlic noodles. The Clam Chowder was good. The Fried Shrimp were clearly of the frozen processed variety which is extremely disappointing from a seafood restaurant. I can buy frozen shrimp at the grocery store that are significantly better . Fries were fine but average. Cole slaw wasn’t edible. Shrimp and grits were just ok. Garlic noodles tasted much more like lemon pepper than garlic , also disappointing. We aren’t seafood boil fans so this restaurant isn’t for us. Too bad I was hoping for better.

Tried Angry Crab Shack couple days ago! The king crab was delicious — sweet, juicy, and cooked just right. The Cajun crawfish wasn’t quite what I expected though; it could’ve used more seasoning and garlic for that extra flavor kick.
The fried pickles were really good — crispy and tasty! The clams were okay, nothing special but not bad either.
The atmosphere was great, and the place has a fun, casual vibe. Service was okay, friendly but could be a bit more attentive.
Just sharing some honest feedback to help the restaurant improve — not to bring it down. Every business can get better with a little constructive feedback. I’ll definitely come back and try other items!

This place is absolutely awesome. The best people work here. Our server Julz was on top of everything 200%!!! The manager let my girls hold the lobsters! The food was FIRE. Everyone came out when it was time to sing happy Birthday to our daughter!!! I can proudly say, I have never had a more amazing experience than what i had here! We will be back again the next time we’re in town!!! Thank you to all the beautiful people here and the customers who also joined in to sing happy birthday! ❤️

Super fun if you’re ready to get messy. Maya was friendly and knew the menu. Someone was having a birthday and the whole team brought the energy! Food was great, yummy seafood boil. Gumbo was pretty good too! And we got to meet Leo the lobster. Good times!
