I wanted a shrimp po boy… Something as hard to find as a good eggplant grinder in Phoenix. (You can’t find one.)
It was everything a shrimp po boy should be. (Yes I added cheese.)
Fried shrimps, fries, baguette. Perfect. Topped with hot sauce and ketchup obviously.
I ordered to go, my ticket fell in butter… I ordered a beer while I waited.
Worth it.
I will be back.
My ticket didn’t “fall in butter.” Turns out I called a different Angry Crab. I was told it happens often…
NGL. I thought about driving to get another but decided against it since I was full.
I do suggest in the future you guys just say you don’t have the order and “you probably called another one.”
Still will be back, maybe to that other one next time.

I had the crab and shrimp combo. The flavor and spiciness were good however the crab and the shrimp weren’t that great. The quality and freshness seemed like it was frozen. I had higher expectations given the price pount. Service was friendly and excellent.

The staff here was amazing. You can’t beat the lunch specials… If the lunch specials go anywhere, it will be a very sad day, lol! There was no wait time and the food came out relatively quickly. Our waitress was fun and rapid.

I picked up lunch for the family. I wasn’t a big fan of the fish and chips. I would describe the batter as puffy batter. The seasoned fries were great. Hushpuppies and onion rings were pretty good. The jambalaya was fantastic. Spicy, but not blow your hair back, slap your momma, and call you words you can’t say in front of a child. Would go again.

My son wanted shrimp for his birthday so we came here. Glad we did! Kids meals are a great price, and the adult meals were tasty and good portions. My shrimp po’ boy was great, with bread toasted just right and a flavorful but not overly spicy remoulade. My wife got the shrimp and grits, which was piping hot and had great creamy, garlic flavor. Beer prices were good, especially during happy hour. Kids loved to draw on the table paper, too. We ate outside on a beautiful 80 degree evening. We’re visiting the area, but we’d come back here again if given the opportunity. Plenty of parking while we were there on a weekday eve, also.

I recently visited Angry Crab Shack with a group of friends, and our experience was mixed. Me and one other person ordered the seafood boil, which we enjoyed. The flavors were fantastic, and it was super fun cracking the crab and getting all messy. The waitresses provide you with bibs and gloves. It’s definitely a unique experience I think everyone should try.
However, I must mention that the rest of the group ordered non-seafood boil items and appetizers. Unfortunately, these dishes didn’t meet their expectations. I also was not a fan of the jalapeño cornbread hush puppies because of the flavor and they were too salty.
Additionally, I appreciate Angry Crab’s flexibility for vegetarians, as they offer substitutions and can make certain items on the menu vegetarian upon request. As a restaurant that is seafood based, I was surprised that they could make these accommodations.
Considering my experiences with the seafood boils, I don’t have many complaints. However, I understand that others may have had a different experience with the non-seafood boil options on the menu. Angry Crab Shack is known for their seafood boils, so if that’s not your thing, I suggest choosing a different restaurant, because it seems the other things on the menu might not be worth it.

After experiencing food poisoning & comparing online pictures of what a Dungeness Crab should look like, we now know it was very spoiled & we should have been alerted NOT TO EAT IT, by the server who cracked it open for us.

We went here because we saw it pop up on the maps. So happy to have a Angry Crab on our side. The restaurant is clean the servers are attentive. Appetizers came out timely and the food came out perfect. This was the best quality of crab that I’ve had in year’s, we had snow crab. We also had oyesters and mussels. The manager Larry was great looking forward to coming back.
*As a note due to shortages of crab in the fishing grounds the quality may vary.

Do not get a seafood boil bag here. No flavor. Ordered the “Hot (I can’t feel my lips)” and Cajun seasoning. It was bland. I asked how they boiled it and they said they boil it in clean water first and then transfer it into seasoning.
