This is THE spot for top-tier people-watching and car-spotting. Angry Al’s literally has the best location right on PCH in Huntington Beach in the downtown area.
Tried a bunch of things on my first visit, and I’ll definitely be back. The gyro burger blew my mind. I’ve never had gyro meat in a burger before, but hey, it works!
You have to get the chicken shawarma with the loaded fries, just trust me on this. And don’t forget to ask for extra sauce~
Also loved the steak pita wrap—the meat was insanely tender. And if you’re HUNGRY hungry, go for the 3 kabob plate. Chicken, kefta, AND ribeye steak??!

Delicious food next to an open window soaking in the ocean breeze. We got a steak salad and a steak bowl which was a ton of very delicious food. Best food on our trip in California so far.

“Mediterranean Fusion” restaurant in Huntington Beach, on PCH and 6th. It’s a small place with a couple of tables and a few extra seats, but it’s cozy, clean, and well-decorated. They offer “Mediterranean” dishes, but all with an American flair (not that it’s necessarily a bad thing, of course). They also offer classic American burgers. Service was curteous and reasonably prompt. Prices are average for this kind of restaurant (gourmet fast-food?)
I had the steak wrap. The portion was not too big, more on the “reasonable” size, but very filling, especially with the help of the accompanying fries (which, incidentally, you can substitute with a salad). It came with a sort of Tahini sauce, which was a little on the bitter side. But it wasn’t really needed, as the meat already had its sauce, and it was tasty, albeit milder. The steak was good, soft, and tasty but just a tad chewy (still good, though). The fries were very good: extra crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My wife had the gyro plate. It was mixed lamb and beef, as it usually is the US, since the average American palate finds all-lamb to be too much (and if you fall in that group, don’t order gyro in Greece, LOL…) Anyhow, I sampled it, and it was also good. The gyro came with a size of Tzatziki sauce (Greek yogurt, garlic, and dill weed), and it was creamy and tasty.
While I wouldn’t rate the food 5 stars, it’s absolutely a solid 4.5 stars.

Had such a lovely time with my girl friends sharing apps and entres! I am gluten free and they were so accommodating and offered many options. Food is very healthy and I felt so great after eating here! We came for wine Wednesday and it was perfect for girls night… such a good place to hang close to the beach

Heard good things about this place & tried it. Interesting menu with a variety of choices. Food was just ok- everything came out room temperature- Shwarma burger; salad; Cheeseburger & fries. Very disappointing as they were not that busy. Not a juicy burger; shwarma steak was dry; salad was wilted and definitely not worth the $5 extra charge for it. Chipotle mayonnaise & thousand island were good but vinaigrette seemed store bought. Server who took our order was pleasant hence the 4 ⭐️

Surprisingly quiet for a beach spot, which was perfect for celebrating my sister’s birthday. The food was delicious and healthier than other nearby food options. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely consider coming back next time we’re in the area!

Just ate here with my wife this evening. I had the chicken bowl and she had the chicken shawarma. The service was super friendly and they were happy to assist with subbing my rice for more veggies. Super tasty and healthy. Will be a staple for us for sure.

Worst Mediterranean restaurant ever. I really do love Mediterranean food a lot and was craving a lot this early morning. Every other Mediterranean restaurants offer good food portion for around $20 kabab plate but this restaurant surprised me. The food just vanished after couple of bites and that’s it
