What a fantastic experience! I just had to drop a line and share how absolutely blown away I was by everything at the restaurant.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere hit the right note—sleek yet warm, with soft lighting that made the whole place feel intimate without being stuffy. The staff were on point: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to be there. They checked in just enough to make you feel cared for, but never hovered.

Now, onto the food. Every dish arrived like a work of art, and the flavors lived up to the presentation.

The crab cracker was the star of the night. The sweet, buttery crab meat was perfectly chilled, and the briny pop of caviar added a luxurious depth that made each bite feel indulgent yet balanced.

Every course was thoughtfully paced, allowing the flavors to shine without feeling rushed.

If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and order the crab and caviar dish—you won’t regret it. It’s one of those rare meals that stays with you long after you’ve left the table. Highly recommended!

We celebrated our anniversary in December and had a lovely time. The vibe was relaxed but the service was great. The wine was delicious, we went for the Austrian wine that’s made for AngloThai and it paired deliciously with all the dishes.
The only course that was a bit underwhelming/felt familiar was the chicken, but everything else was exquisite.

An amazing experience for our little early Valentine’s Day celebration. The whole team, especially Katherine (excuse if it’s misspelled) took very good care of us! The food is exceptional and you understand the restaurant’s placement in the National lists as well as the start. The environment is also modern yet cosy, was amazing for a date night. Forgot to tip but will be back to fix that too. Go ahead and book you will not regret it!

This was one of the best tastings I have done in London. And at a very competitive price point. A couple highlights were the crab and caviar course and the bbq octopus. It may have been the best octopus I have ever had. The Thai spices were unique and fantastic across all the courses. They also had excellent ice cream in both of the dessert courses. The ambiance could be a bit more elevated, as it was quite tightly packed but the food makes it more than worth the visit!

Took my wife for her birthday dinner and we really enjoyed our meal. Every dish had a unique Asian spin that was flavorful and delicious. I usually don’t like fish but all the fish dishes were spectacular. Can definitely see why they got their Michelin star! Staff were all very friendly and they gave us a great seta by the window as well as a beautiful dessert to celebrate the birthday. Thank you for such a memorable meal

The tasting menu at AngloThai delivered a masterful journey through flavor, craft, and culture. Every dish felt intentional, presenting Thai culinary traditions with a distinctly modern British sensibility. The opening plates set the tone—delicate steamed rice sheets layered with beetroot and rapeseed captured a perfect balance of earthiness and gentle sweetness. The line-caught mackerel tartlet was a standout: its clean acidity and Lovita plum brightness danced across the palate, while the horseradish lent just enough warmth to elevate every bite.

The crispy pork belly showcased remarkable technique—layers of tender meat beneath an impossibly crisp top, paired with Trepadeira chilli and cherry for a bold yet controlled contrast of heat and fruit. The Brixham crab course was both luxurious and playful, crowned with Exmoor caviar and accompanied by an ethereal coconut ash cracker that highlighted the crab’s natural sweetness.

The progression into hot dishes was equally impressive. The khao soi noodles arrived rich, aromatic, and comforting, with Romanesco and Todoli citrus adding freshness and dimension to the curry. The Chalk Stream trout, steamed to silky perfection, was one of the evening’s most memorable plates; its sour curry held depth without heaviness, and the Napa cabbage enriched the dish with subtle vegetal notes.

The main of Fosse Meadows chicken with Thai basil and long pepper curry embodied everything AngloThai excels at—intricate spice, balance, and harmony. Its supporting plates, from the wholegrain oats scented with laab spice to the Crown Prince squash salad with sesame, grounded the meal in warmth and seasons, evoking both Bangkok markets and English countryside harvests.

Desserts created a gentle landing. The cherry, hibiscus, and heritage seed krayasat delivered a beautiful interplay of tartness, florality, and texture, while the final note of apple and Thai tea cassia was elegant and calming, the culinary equivalent of a deep breath. Paired with the refreshing Apple Soda, each sip offered crisp brightness that punctuated the meal with clarity.

AngloThai is a rare example of cuisine presented with honesty, restraint, and confidence. The experience is not just a tasting menu—it is a thoughtful celebration of ingredients, memory, and the dual heritage behind the kitchen. A visit here lingers long after the final bite.

A Silver Anniversary Masterpiece at Anglo Thai
What an absolutely unforgettable evening celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary! We were completely spoiled by our thoughtful daughter, who treated us to dinner at the phenomenal Michelin-starred Anglo Thai in London. It was the perfect, sophisticated backdrop for such a special milestone.
The atmosphere strikes that rare, beautiful balance: chic and refined, yet wonderfully warm and welcoming. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on making our celebration feel unique. That’s the true definition of Michelin-star hospitality.
The Brilliant Anglo Thai Concept
The cuisine here is a masterclass in fusion, celebrating the very best of British ingredients through the lens of vibrant Thai flavor. Chef’s genius lies in taking local, seasonal UK produce and applying the complex, layered techniques of Thai cooking—the subtle balance of sweet, sour, salt, and spice was executed with breathtaking precision.
Every course was a delight and a beautiful surprise. The depth of flavor in the curries and the sheer freshness of the fish course were standout moments. It wasn’t just a meal; it was an education in flavor, demonstrating how traditional borders can be brilliantly dissolved on a plate.
Thank you so much to the entire team at Anglo Thai for providing the most beautiful setting and exquisite food to mark 25 wonderful years. And a huge, heartfelt thank you to our daughter for this incredible gift. It truly was the greatest treat!
⭐️ Highly, highly recommended for any special occasion.

What a wonderful meal and experience! It could not have been better. The staff were understanding and always helpful. Their explanations and suggestions greatly enhanced the meal.

We’re so happy that we saw the feature on CBS ‘The Dish’ and were able to visit while in London.

Definitely looking forward to our next trip! And thank you so much for the note on the menu. It’s a lovely keepsake!

The London Guru
A creative and beautifully presented tasting menu that blends British produce with Thai flavors. The highlights for me were the Lovita Plum with Candied Beetroot and the Crispy Pork Belly with Trepadeira Chilli, both balanced and full of character.
The Chalk Stream Trout, though described as poached, was closer to raw and didn’t quite work texturally. The Fosse Meadows Chicken also felt a bit disjointed, as the components didn’t come together as cohesively as other dishes.
Service was excellent, and there was plenty of food throughout the menu. It is on the expensive side, and a 15% service charge is added. Overall, a thoughtful, inventive menu with some truly memorable moments, even if a couple of courses fell short.

They did something truly great with this restaurant. Incredibly gorgeous, delicious and balanced food. It’s definitively British food with Thai influence, not vice versa – very original and creative. Don’t think there was a bad dish here, I’d definitely recommend to NOT skip the supplement as that was one of the best bites. The curry as well as the oysters and sausage starter were additional standouts. I was literally cleaning off the plate with their homemade brioche. Even the cucumber broth amuse bouche was delectable. Only two dishes that didn’t wow me were the Thai tea dessert and the side of greens that was very very salty. Other than that this restaurant is exactly the type of cooking I’d love to see more of in London. Unfussy interior and service, very friendly and felt cozy but not rugged. Will definitely be returning!
