It has new owners about 4 months into new ownership. They have great specials and the portion sizes are HUGE. The prices are reasonable but most of all the food is amazing, delicious, sooo yummy!! The service is awesome!!!! I will always come back here. My goal is to try everything they make. They alao have plenty of seating, family friendly. Really clean bathrooms. They have a condiment and toppings bar that you serve yourself. One of my top 10 places to eat.

I haven’t been in over 7 years. The food was exactly how I remember it. Delicious. The taco was perfect. The cheese enchiladas and homemade corn tortillas were amazing. I will be going back soon.

This place is an absolute rip off. My entire order was
1 water
1 soda
1 two enchilada plate with beans sub shredded lettuce and diced fresh tomato for rice
2 à la carte beef enchiladas

To-go 6 beef enchiladas.

Total-$107

Service was terrible. Hostess was equally terrible. Atmosphere was uninviting and prices were priced for tourists with lots of money to waste. Thank you Angie’s for reminding why I will continue to make my TexMex food at home for the rest of my life. If the service and quality of food had been better I may have felt better about being over charged. Readers: don’t waste your time. There is much better priced TexMex with better service and quality. Do your research before dining here.

Extremely overpriced. I paid $45 for 2 plates. I wish I took a picture of the potions but I didn’t. The drinks were priced at 3.25 but actually they’re almost $5! They have a tiny sign saying that all prices have been increased by $2, you don’t see the sign until you have to pay. It’s lowkey a scam. I paid $14 for a breakfast plate and $18 for a carne guisda plate with barely any meat and rice.
The price increase should be put on every single menu, not just on a little sign at the register. I wouldn’t have ordered what I did if I knew the plate was going to be $18. Especially with the portion I was given. Do better!

Update: I reached out and haven’t heard anything back!

Although this establishment was beautiful inside we came and seating in the back corner was available only because the tables in the middle or the front were not cleaned off. Waitress took awhile to give us menus. When she came the chips were not filled our waters weren’t filled..but the food was good. Wouldn’t go back anytime soon.

Took Senorita Angie’s recommendations. She brought me carne guisada, papas, frijoles, y huevos a la Mexicana with handmade corn tortillas.
Then washed it down with a house margarita. Sorry the food was so good I forgot to take a picture so my bad

Clean $$$ good customer service. Delicious homemade corn tortillas. Menudo was over cooked for me but it did have hominy, it has potential to be good. Might try again. Food was a bit on the cold side. Good coffee. I didn’t care for the chorizo and bean taco. Chorizo is not cooked into the food, its layered. I did not like the barbacoa, tasted dirty. Chips and salsa have a great flavor. Will try again for better rating.
Not sure if we recommend, you might have to judge this one for yourself.

I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to try this spot on E. 7th!
Did breakfast tacos and Huevos Mexicana.
Both were delicious. We dined in and they gave chips and salsa (not a lot of places do this for bfast). The salsa had great heat – not too much, just the right amount. And the chips came out warmmmm
The tacos and plate were both great! Came out piping hot, great flavor. The chorizo was NOT greasy but was so flavorful – what a rarity!
The tortillas also had good thickness and size. I was full 1.5 tacos in.
I’ll definitely be back!!
