The food is delicious here!!!! Best Mexican dishes in the area hands down. The restaurant is in an old car dealership show room, so still has some features from its old glory days. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean. Highly recommended if you’re in the area visiting or even if you live nearby.

Friendly and attentive wait-staffing. Diner food with Mexican – I had a pastrami Reuben, and it was good, but not great. My daughter had a carnitas quesadilla, and it was greasy, but hey: cheese and pork. Wait staff was really friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. The place was pretty busy, and a lot of the breakfast items looked good, so if I were in town again, I’d definitely go back.

Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Menu selection is huge. There is something for any kind of taste. I had stake scramble skillet, it was amazing. We also had pancakes that were really good. There is parking on the spot, we walked in without reservations, and got the table without any waiting.

Absolutely love Angies! My family and I have been coming here since they first opened. First came for the breakfast, then discovered their Mexican menu for dinner …. WOW! Everything is so good and authentic, love the tacos, empanadas and chili. Never disappointed when I come here!

In a town that carries the weight of the world on its shoulders, there’s a place where the wood is well-worn and the coffee is always hot. Angie’s Luncheonette it’s called, resembling more a chapter from a well-thumbed book than a diner. Here, under the hum of early morning and the quiet din of noon, life unfolds in the simple, earthy rituals of breakfast and lunch.
The menu, like a good story, is both familiar and inviting, edged with surprises. Patrons, some weary from the night before, others bright-eyed and seeking, find solace in the promise of breakfast served all day. It’s a declaration of independence from the tyranny of time, a small rebellion savored with every bite of eggs and bacon long after the morning has passed.
Among the offerings, the TRIO FAJITA stands as a testament to hearty sustenance, a union of shrimp, chicken, and steak priced at $25.95. It’s a dish that speaks of journeys and convergences, flavors mingling like characters in a narrative, each with its own story yet contributing to a shared destiny. The sizzle and smoke of the fajitas echo tales of distant lands and homecoming, a reminder that even the most wandering soul seeks the warmth of familiar hearthfires.
And then, the BIRRIA TACOS. They are not just food; they are an experience–a slow, delicate unraveling of flavors and textures. Each bite is a paragraph, dense with history and spice, a craft akin to homemade . The meat, tender from its long marination, pulls apart like the layers of a well-crafted narrative, revealing not just the skill of its making but the heritage of its origin.
Angie’s, is not merely a luncheonette. It’s a microcosm of life’s enduring simplicities and fleeting joys. Here, amid the clatter of dishes and the murmur of conversations, the world narrows to the moment, to the plate before you, and the people beside you.
In a way, Angie’s embodies a purity–stripped of pretense, focused on the essence. Life, it suggests, is not unlike a meal at Angie’s: simple, yet profound; fleeting, yet filled with the possibility of meaning and connection. And in this space, one finds a reflection of our own ethos: that in the straightforward and unadorned, there lies depth, truth, and beauty.

My family & I decided to eat at Angie’s for Mother’s Day & we weren’t disappointed. We ordered the huevos rancheros with a side of avocado, tropical french toast & sausage scrambled Skillet. Food was excellent. I felt that the huevos rancheros was authentic & while it may not look appetizing, it was very delicious! Itwas a great Mexican/American find in Bordentown. I will be coming back to try some of their lunch/dinner options.

When the Mexican spice craving jumps, the big cats pounce on the good food such that is found at Angie’s. With a wide range of Mexican fare, this hot spot makes up for the dive restaurant feel with some high quality food. Chips & salsa rock the taco and we all get full bellies after this visit. Only thing missing was some cervasa….#wouldgoagain

Best enchiladas we have ever eaten……period! When we walked in, we ordered chips and salsa and the waitress brought out some pico, green salsa, and black bean dip. All three were amazing!!!

The service and atmosphere were also really nice and the price was more than reasonable. We have lived all over the country and this is some of the beet food we have had.
If you’re in the area and need a bite to eat, I doubt Angie’s will let you down. There menu was pretty extensive and “Mexican cuisine” was only a small portion of it.

Enjoy!!!

A very unique restaurant with an extensive breakfast menu. The Mexican menu is definitely authentic. The “enchiladas verdes”with green tomatillo sauce are by far among the best.
My favorite , from the Mexican menu , is the “torta a la Milanese” chicken sandwich.

I wish they would add more traditional Mexican dishes and drinks to their menu. I think Bordentown is ready to experience the full flavors of the Mexican cuisine, other than tacos and burritos.
