I’ve placed several orders from Ange’s Pizza in Clintonville over the last six months, and every single experience has been outstanding. My mother‑in‑law grew up on the East Side and lived in Whitehall for years, where Ange’s was a staple in her life. She’s currently in medical rehab in Worthington and has been struggling with her appetite, but Ange’s has been a true bright spot for her.
Every time I bring her their pizza, her face lights up. It’s nostalgic, comforting, and prepared perfectly on every visit. The team here has been consistently kind, reliable, and attentive, and it means more than they know. Thank you, Ange’s Clintonville, for giving her something familiar to enjoy and for making each order feel special.

Place smells like raw sewage upon walking in.. absolutely disgusting, they should’ve offered to cancel our order for free…. That smell lingered forever. Fix your sewage lines or something, it smells literally like poop immediately as you walk in the door.. this isn’t an exaggeration.. The guy in the kitchen was so rude about it when I asked, pretended like he couldn’t hear what I was saying..

Ordered and 1 hour later the pizza was still not here. I called and they told us to wait. I called 35 min later and they told me it had already been delivered. After they agreed to remake it we waited another 30 min just to receive this in the box. The pizza was inedible. I don’t know if the driver did something to it out of spite. They were nice enough to waive the payment but I’m out of the only funds I had till pay day to eat and they take 2-3 business days to refund your money. Last time ordering from them.

My family stayed at the Hampton hotel in Columbus, Ohio, on a Thursday, we ordered pizza ½ cheese ½ pepperoni and cheese , Stromboli, sub, loaded fries, and lasagna, and wings. The food was not only overcooked and did not look appealing. My 7 yr old did not want to eat it. The next day, I woke up with my lower back hurting, thought it was from the hotel beds. But after checking out at 12 pm. and stopping to get mcdonald’s for my son, I suddenly felt sick…stomach, feeling bloated and hurting really bad. After that, “I was done for” driving back to Dayton just 1 hour and 20 mins, I had to pull over every 10 minutes to puke my guts out.. My sister also was not feeling well her stomach also hurt, and we also had diarrhea, headache with excessive thirst, and they were following us home . I have been sick for 3 days now. Today, Sunday, I was able to hold down some food… ***Be careful from ordering from this place*** I spent $100.00 on this food to make me and my family sick… with food poisoning…

We tried Ange’s for the first time on Christmas Eve day. The pizzas were delicious (we especially love the dough recipe) and baked to perfection. The Clintonville store, though small, was nice and clean, and the gentleman who rang me up was super nice. I’ll definitely order from Ange’s again.

This is our first and last time ordering from here. The food was delivered without an insulated bag, so was only lukewarm.
We asked for our wings to be well done, but they were not crispy at all. Our pizzas were limp and chewy, but not in a good way, and the flavor was simply ok. Based on our experience, I would not recommend eating here.

I ordered an extra cheese, ham and mushroom but instead of extra cheese I got extra sauce. There was so much sauce on it, it was coming off the edges all around the pizza, cheese would slide off, I was honestly way disappointed because the pizza there is normally pretty good.

I ordered a takeout pizza for pickup online, in the special instruction section online I asked for the extra large pizza to be cut pie slice. Upon getting the pizza and inspecting it to make sure everything was okay it was cut square and not pie sliced so my husband asked for it to be remade and cut pie sliced. The rebuttal to my husband was he is not making another Pizza and if we want one we’d have to repay for one, so my husband made a phone call to me he let me know what the problem was and I asked if I could speak to the gentleman but he would not take a private phone and I understood because of the covid conditions. So I told my husband so that it wouldn’t be a problem to just take the pizza and come on home and that’s exactly what he did. Now I placed a phone call to the store myself and spoke with the gentleman by the name of Jerry, I explained the problem to him, he informed me the information on my ticket about cutting the pizza pie sliced was not printed on it and I had the ticket in my hand and he was correct, so in turn I explained to him that I ordered it online and in the special section for such detailed information (that’s what I typed in for it to be cut pie sliced) so the way it was handled was he told me to call the store instead and inform them. I can understand that and I don’t have a problem with doing that. So if you want something done try not to rely on it being done through the online process just call the store after you placed your order online. I gave this store one and a half stars. Because the bottom line was if you want to retain a customer you’ll try to accommodate but instead you chose to send the customer out without the problem being remedied instead it had to be taken care of by the wife on a phone call. Instead of embarrassing the customer in front of others and speaking angrily, it turned into giggling and laughing at what the employee was saying it should have been handled much better. So One and a half stars to me is very lucky.
