Angel’s Catering was established on October 30th 1998, by Ms. Evelyn Clayton. She passed the business and skills down to her son Tony Posey, his wife Cathia Posey Together they created what is now known as Angel’s Soul Food & BBQ (Known for cooking the best fried chicken), the business is currently run by their daughter Toni posey. While still catering they also rent adult and children throne chairs and offer decorating for events. I ordered this chittering dinner via Uber eats. This dinner is $18.99 and with taxes this order was over $24 not to mention it was over $30 with delivery fees the restaurant charged me as well. I’ve never had chitterlings with gravy but the portion size you’ve got to be kidding me for $24. Never again I’ll stick to Nikki‘s soul food in Orlando. This is absolutely egregious to charge somebody this kind of money for this little bit of food. You all really need to be ashamed of yourselves. I see why your ratings are low.Wow wow wow!!! I guarantee you it cost you all less than $5 to make this plate of food. This is very upsetting. How are you gonna price gouge your customers?

Fantastic!! We popped in spur of the moment as we were passing, and we will be back! Had the one meat two sides (smothered pork chops with cabbage and Mac and cheese) and the two meat three sides (fried chicken meatloaf, rice, Lima beans, black eyed peas) All delicious. Fried chicken and pork chops were the favorites along with limas, and Mac and cheese. Counter service was very nice. She explained everything since it was our first time in! Our bellies are full and now we need a nap!! Can’t wait to come back and try more!!

I Googled “home-cooked food near me” as we were leaving the Sanford Orlando Airport. Angel’s popped up, and we decided to try it.
Are we ever glad we did!! O, my! Just walking in the door and smelling all kinds of home-cooked aromas blended together felt like we’d just arrived at a relative’s home for dinner. Scrumptious choices of meats & sides with a delicious (REALLY delicious, y’all!!) corn muffin. And homemade, from scratch, pound cake, vanilla & lemon.
Our group of ladies loved the food so much we’re planning to go to Angel’s again in a few days when we pick up another friend from Sanford Airport! The flavors of everything each of us chose for our meals was just plain good!!
Ya gotta try this place!! The staff are amazing, too! Down-home, friendly people!! Super accommodating!! THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF! We’re definitely coming back soon!! ❣️

Ordered Lemon Pepper, Honey Garlic, and Hot wings, never got the hot wings. My collard greens tasted old. The baked beans weren’t bad at all. The fries were pretty good. My yams were meh along with the Mac and Cheese. They messed up my order and my food tasted like it had no soul in it. I’d rather eat my own cooking

It was my first time getting food here . Before I was served no one had on hair nets and no gloves. I came in with my Mom and I didn’t want to talk very loud because her hearing is bad..the yam’s were good the greens nope.. the chitlings came out a bag. I know because I buy the chitlings loaf myself. One of the servers took food that someone had ordered and then dumped it back into the food.
I got the chitlings no rice yams and greens..The guy gave me an extra piece of cornbread because I didn’t get any rice .the lady server took the extra piece of bread off.
One of the workers was singing so loud..but the food we got wasn’t worth $40. I only got the food because my mom couldn’t hear me saying..LETS GO!! NO HAIR NETS NO GLOVES!!

Love this place! Authentic flavorful soul food with lots of meats and sides to choose from. Healthy baked meat and veggie plates with amped up entree options like fried chicken and fried fish cooked fresh for a little more wait. Corn bread muffin is the bomb and comes with every plate. And don’t pass on the pound cake, it is to die for. It’s one of Sanford’s best kept secrets now at a bigger location right on the west side of 17/92 near intersection of Park Drive.
