Service and the deserts ruined it for us.
We were 3 of like 7 people there on a week night. Waitress didn’t know details about what was in some of the offerings– not a huge deal but eh.
Food was par for the course, not bad enough to complain about. No heat and no real flavor through the 4 different things we tried.
Issues were we were waiting for about 15-20min between seeing the waitress all 3 times we saw her. Our waters sat empty for quite a while, we waited about 30min for her to finally come by, and when she did she brought the check– but we were waiting to try the desserts.
The churros were absolute flavorless trash, and so was the cheesecake thing. I would’ve taken a Costco churro and a thing of cinnamon twists over what we ate.
And we were done with desserts for about another 20min before I had to get up and find the waitress–at the bar–and ask for a box and the check.
Wouldn’t recommend to a bad neighbor.

I ordered online and had the food delivered. (Maybe that was the mistake ) The chicken quesadillas was good but the enchilada sauce for the enchiladas tasted like jar pizza sauce . The kids chicken was bland . And the steak quesadillas were okay. We were hoping for chili verdes on the menu and didn’t see it , so we opted for something basic you shouldn’t be able to mess up but the food lacked flavor and quality.

When we came they were super busy. Took a minute to get seated but the staff was very nice. The food was not that hood this time. My beans tasted like there was mint in them, tge rice was not fully cooked and a bit crunchy. My wife did not really like hers either. We have Bern here before and it was good so maybe this was just an off night. It was not so bad that we wouldn’t return there were 3 adults and a child and our bill was $63 after tip. It wasn’t $63 dollars good.

Our FAVORITE Mexican restaurant!!! Food is absolutely delicious! We had the buffet which was $13.75 per person. All the food was so fresh. A lady made handmade flour and corn tortillas!! I am originally from Mexico and the food took me back to my childhood. Definitely will recommend to anyone!!

There’s one thing that usually frustrates me at Authentic Mexican restaurants; the music takes over and it’s difficult to hear one another. At Angel’s, the music set the background but never took over the room.

Pretty good Mexican restaurant. The waitress we had this time was rude, acted like we were bothering her, and would not tend to our table. She would bring out what we had requested like a drink but before she would bring it to us she would stop by all of her other tables and wait on them before dropping it off with us. She should have just dropped it off at our table before she attended to the other tables. Not very hygienic to take our food or drink to other tables before bringing it to us.
