We’re Angelo’s Pizza, and we’ve been the premier pizza restaurant here in Taylorville, IL, since 1965. We are locally owned and operated and believe in making homemade pizza and pasta and also offer wings, sandwiches, salads, beer, wine and much more. We started this business to bring great local pizza to Taylorville and have been operating for more than 50 years and love giving back to the community. It’s one of my favorite pizza stops! The atmosphere is roomy, clean, and nicely decorated with a family decor. There are plenty of different toppings and sauces to choose from for your pizza. Last time, we had pizza, Italian sub, fish and chips, mushrooms, and onion rings. Everyone enjoyed their food and left nothing behind. Our service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly! If I were a local, it would be a weekly stop!

Every year about this time, my brother visits from Florida while staying with family, and we all get together at Angelo’s for dinner. There were 15 of us this time! Pizza (Angelo’s most popular food choice) is what most of us chose to eat. I had the “new” Pickle topped pizza with garlic sauce and ranch dressing and sprinkled with dill. It was DELICIOUS!! There was the Tropical pizza and Pepperoni pizza also, plus basket meals and mushroom appetizers. The young lady who served us was friendly, kind and professional. She had patience with the younger kids ordering food and drinks, she knew her menu items, she refilled drinks quickly, and she never made us feel rushed because we got there at a later time to eat. She was gracious and made our dining experience a really nice time. We of course, will be coming back sooner than next year! Always an A+ for the service and for the servers and kitchen staff! Thank you!

This was one of the best pizza’s we have ever had! Diana was our waitress and she made our first time dining experience there most enjoyable! The rest of the staff was very friendly also! We will definitely be driving the 50 minute drive back because it is worth it!

Parking lot packed, no waiting in line. I was surprised how fast we were served, had our food and out the door. Amazingly fast. Food tasted great.

Gotta love a salad that’s half cheese! Tasty pizza too. I need to get back and try a horseshoe or one of their CHEAP pasta specials. Someone had the $6.99 lasagna special the night we were there, and it was decent-sized.
