Fantastic experience from start to finish. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the sides were just as good. Our waitress, Carol, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She checked on us at just the right times and made the evening even better. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

This was my first time going but the atmosphere was really cool and I want to go back to try more things. The have hard bread sticks and you get 2 complimentary pieces of their bread, which was good. I had the porterhouse and it was not great. Which was disappointing because I had read many reviews saying how great the steak is. That won’t deter me from going back or trying another cut. My husband liked the chicken parm. The chocolate cake was yummy. I also got the tiramisu for my daughter. It did not have a strong espresso taste so it was different but it was still good. The history and ambience is cool. I only took one photo to show my kids but it doesn’t do it any justice.

Started out rough. We didn’t have a reservation, so we were led through the restaurant as they looked for a table. Finally sat us and then said it would be a while. After 15min someone came to get our drink orders and then disappeared for 30min. We skipped appetizers and just ordered. My house salad was some lettuce, one slice of cucumber and a small red onion slice. My wife said the Ceasar salad was excellent though. I ordered a shrimp dish, by the time it got to me the shrimp was too tough to chew. My wife’s filet was well cooked and delicious. Since it had been two hours by now, we ordered tiramisu to go. When we tried it at home, it was a thick, almost pudding texture, definitely not what we were expecting. The atmosphere was nice and the live piano player at least kept us entertained.

First-time visit, but it won’t be my last. One of my best dining experiences ever, and I’m – well, let’s just say I’m a lot of years old. I had the filet mignon, and it was perfect – flavorful and cooked exactly right. Same with the baked potato and the “burnt asparagus,” which of course is not actually burnt, but is lightly browned on the outside, while remaining tender on the inside. Delicious. Each of our party of five had different things, and I don’t remember who had what, but all five of us felt it was absolutely first class food, atmosphere, and service. Chase, you’re the tops! Oh, and their lemon meringue pie corrected my long-held belief that all lemon meringue pies are equal. They’re not. This was the best ever, the perfect combination of sweet and sour that a lemon meringue pie should be. All in all, five stars just isn’t enough to do this restaurant justice.

LOVE the antiquated atmosphere! Comes with exceptional service & even better food. Sorry that it took so long to find this place! Piano player was a plus. Great restaurant for special occasions.

The worst steakhouse I have ever been to in my life. I am a 53-year-old man from Toledo Ohio atmosphere was absolutely horrible. There’s 5000 mirrors in the restaurant and we all look at each other while we eat All the seats are connected together you have no privacy and the food is so disgusting no flavor and the steak is so dry. If you order a rare, it’s gonna taste like well done with no seasoning whatsoever.

Our waitress was delightful and the food was great. I love the atmosphere and the history of this restaurant as it pertains to the prohibition era and the purple gang. There was a man playing a grand piano on stage as we ate. If those walls could talk, they would have so many stories to tell. A little birdie told me that the building is haunted as well.

What a treat!
Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the quaintest of places – amidst the warehouses and seediness, an old Italian restaurant straight out of prohibition. Crystal chandeliers, white linens and gold gilded wallpaper, a stage with pianist.
Wow. Highly recommend the escargot to start. Nice wine and NA beer offering. Reservations helpful. Highly recommend this spot.

We stopped here for the first time for dinner and we had a fantastic time. We love the old school dinner club vibe. The decor inside and the piano on stage definitely makes you think of the days when it’s was all about good food and good customer service. We had both, our server was excellent, and the food was too! We got their signature cheese garlic bread and the calamari both were delicious! Then we ordered the rib steak and the porterhouse with a loaded baked potato, and the angel hair pasta with garlic butter sauce as our sides along with salads with their homemade ranch dressing. The salads and the sides were all great and the hand cut steaks were cooked medium like we asked. My wife could almost cut her ribeye with a fork it was so tender. Their house zip sauce that comes on the steak definitely complimented the flavor of the steak too. We finished off the meal with a slice of blueberry cheesecake and a piece of pineapple upside-down cheesecake to go. Both were superb! For a first time visit we were super impressed, and plan to return again to try some of the other tasty items on the menu! Thank you for a great experience!

Took my wife out for 18 anniversary and was disappointed. The building was cool. We had reservations and was sat immediately but waited 15 minutes for waitress to bring water and the cheese bread. The waitress was bland as hell like a zombie. The food was literally the nastiest anniversary dinner I’ve ever had in my entire 18 year relationship. Neither of us were happy at all.
