Social Profile:

Angelo’s Luncheonette had it’s humble beginnings in April of 1967 in the historic Forty Acres neighborhood of Wilmington, Delaware. It is largely the same today with it’s 50s diner style lunch counter and Elvis memorobilia displayed throughout the cozy space. There are also two fourspot tables and two two-spot tables inside and a few tables outside. The establishment has won many awards through the years for friendly customer service and is known for their great breakfast and cheese steaks and a little gem they call the provoroni dog. So, if you want to see an authentic blast from the past or you are just looking for some delicious American comfort food, take the chance to visit this iconic Delaware restaurant.

This neighborhood restaurant is over 55 years old and has so much charm! The food was delicious, the service was fast, the price was really good and folks were very friendly.
Today was my first time eating at Angelo’s luncheonette and I really enjoyed it!
Check out the Elvis bathroom.
Don’t forget to bring cash since it is a cash only establishment.

Tired of going into a chain or franchise and sitting down in the carbon copy of the same restaurant from a town over?

Make your way to Angelo’s Luncheonette for a refreshing and novel dining experience. The decor is quaint, the staff are kind and smiling, and the food is made with care and attention. America needs more establishments like Angelo’s. They remind me how a magnificent dining experience should feel. Keep at it guys! You’ve got a fan.

I wanted to eat at a local diner that has a counter. I found this place by using Google maps and searched for diner near me. Very charming local restaurant. For the first time I had Scrapple. Great service and atmosphere. I chatted with the locals and explained my trip to Wilmington. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I recommend giving them a try.

Angelo’s is a Luncheonette is a throw back joint…good food, customers, and service…and the employees are friendly.

The Cheesesteak could have a little more meat…but I don’t suspect that’s why folks have patronized this place.

I’d recommend you check them out.

Perfect breakfast made the classic homemade way full of flavour. Friendly people, transport yourself to this 1950’s style fantastically aromatic diner for a relaxed delicious meal. Shakes, soda fountain-style drinks, grilled favourites.

We had been meaning to stop in for a while and we finally got the chance. Angelo’s Luncheonette has been in existence for 55 years. It is small and has an only school feel. We liked the interior a lot. You can tell they have a lot of regulars which is always a good sign. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. The food was good and inexpensive. We had breakfast but they had quite a few lunch options as well. Note: They are not open on weekends. Also, this is a cash only establishment. We enjoyed our time there. We will be back.

Scrapple, egg and cheese on white toast, $6.25, cash only. I don’t think things have changed much at Angelo’s in the last 25 years. Good meal at a fair price and Elvis memorabilia, what more can you ask for??

Angelo’s has been slinging hash for 50 years. Now it’s run by “Muz” who is in his 70’s and working hard. Good old fashioned small town diner where everyone knows your name. Muz whips up good eggs, an awesome onion-heavy homefries, and a solid spicy italian sausage. So glad i am moving to the neighborhood!

Cash only!
