This place was honestly very exceptional. To begin, the restaurant is a little small but it also allows for a more intimate and humble experience. The parking may be confusing and difficult for some to find but I parked on the side of building where the entrance is however I’m unsure if customers can park closer to the mechanic spot or anywhere else. One side note is I love the background opera music they had playing.
The customer service was great. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable about the menu and we were seated very quickly. All of our plates also came out fast which was nice.
Finally, as for the actual food. My two personal favourite items we had were definitely the mozzarella sticks and the tiramisu. The main dishes which were pasta that we got weren’t necessarily outstanding but my favourite for those was the beef ravioli however maybe their pizza is more their specialty so that’s definitely something I will be coming back to try next time. Overall this place was really great and I will definitely consider returning to try the pizza and have more of their amazing tiramisu and mozzarella sticks.

First time eating here. We were a family of 8. About 3 PM on a Sunday. Did not wait to long to be seat. Pizza was really good and reasonable prices. We plan to go back and try the pastas next time.

First time trying this pizza and definitely did not disappoint!!! The slices are amazingly huge with generous amount of toppings and not falling off the crust!

Everything was great, service was awesome wasn’t to busy first time being here. The only thing that was the pizza crust was to much for me only I dont eat to much bread but my wife lived the crush just my preference but besides that food was fire

Jess is always a good server/waitress/host. She and the other guy gets my orders. I come here by myself and always the best time here. I’ve been coming here since I’ve been so little and I’m 27 now , thats how you know I’m so loyal to this place . Got the Bambino sized pizzas with Angelo’s deluxe toppings no olives, thin crust, and less cheese this time.

Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Very watery and very bland. The sauce wouldnt even stick to the noodles. Paid $21 and I’m super disappointed. I’ll try the pizza next time but the spaghetti for sure is a NO GO for me. Hungry so I ate what I could.

Long-time local favorite…people who move away still drive in to Alhambra to enjoy their menu! Staff is friendly and welcome everyone like family. Pasta, pizza, Caesar salad with grilled chicken breast, and iced tea followed by dessert…perfect!

If you’re in the mood for pizza and dining alone – Angelo’s has a “bambino” size pizza that’s perfect for a lone diner just eager to eat a great pizza!
Chicken Parm..is served with soup or salad and vegetable and spaghetti sides. You HAVE to be hungry for this one!

The “Special Garlic Bread” – a French bread sliced lengthwise and smothered with garlic butter that doesn’t stop there!
It also has melted mozzarella!, fresh tomato AND basil.
You’ll love it…trust me.

I ordered the $65 meatball tray, it should have 25 meatballs, but upon reaching home, I counted only 22 meatballs. I am owed 3 meatballs, I tried calling 630pm, it rings but no answer. Very disappointed. Next time I will do an actual piece count.

Angelo’s Italian Pizza is a small corner pizza joint. They have a breadth of pasta, pizza and specialty food on their menu. I have known this pizza place for over 9+ years but reluctant to try them out because of the poor star quality reviews. However, I figured give them a try hoping my perception will be good.
I arrived on a cool rainy evening, I had a BBQ pizza (M) and it was very poor in quality – lacks flavor and taste and salty! It was very salty that I only finished 3 out of the 12 slices. I had the remaining pizza in a box and threw it in the garbage. In addition, the ingredients used from diced chicken, tomato sauce, bbq sauce, white onions and pizza crust were significantly substandard compared to other Italian pizza joint. I had been to copious authentic Italian pizza place in LA and by far Angelo’s is the worst. I hated that I wasted my time and money (with $5 tip). Atmosphere was okay as well as their service. Male staff was compliant and attentive. Indoor decor was modest. Rear parking available.
Overall, I had a very bad pizza and experience. Unfortunately, I am inclined to not recommend Angelo’s Pizzeria.

Very good food. I had the eggplant Parmesan, and it did not disappoint. It was very good and I would order it again. The side salad was excellent; very tasty and flavorful. The garlic cheese bread was excellent, fresh and warm. My buddy had the meatball spaghetti and he said it was very good. I ordered medium cheese pizza to take home; fresh and delicious. Also, the size was more like an extra large and a medium. And dessert was very good, I got the ice cream. The average plate is about $20 but it’s worth it. I would definitely go back for another meal.
