We had a wonderful dinner and we were impressed from start to finish.

We started with the calamari, which was a highlight. It was incredibly fresh, expertly fried with a light, crispy coating, and perfectly tender—zero chewiness. A must-order appetizer.

For my main course, I had the spaghetti and meatballs, which were outstanding. The meatballs were a nice size, moist, and flavorful. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauce was just as good—rich and well-balanced.

The positive experience extended beyond the food. The service was top-notch; our server was attentive and friendly. The seating area was comfortable and nicely decorated, providing a great atmosphere.

The cocktails were also spot on!

Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Our family has recently had two funeral luncheons at Angelo’s Italian Kitchen. The food was absolutely delicious, the owner had a separate room set up perfectly, the servers were exceptional. The entire family could not have been happier with the quality, service, & prices. This is a great restaurant for dinner, lunch, take out, & special events.

The food is good, but the atmosphere and service is excellent! They hosted a 30th birthday party for me and the private secluded area to entertain guests is wonderful along with the excellent service provided. I love their sauce, and I’m picky when it comes to sauce and they have GOOD sauce. We had Chicken parm, and Salmon and both were very good. The gnocchi was phenomenal, so good my son ate it, and he doesn’t like potatoes unless they are fries. I would definitely recommend to family and friends for both good food and excellent service. Again I can’t say enough to thank the servers for their help and excellent customer service. I am happy that the party went so well and we all throughly enjoyed our night at Angelo’s Restaurant!!

We hosted a baby shower here and had a fantastic experience. From the planning process to the day of service, we couldn’t have asked for more. The space was perfect, everyone enjoyed the food, and the staff was extremely attentive and went out of their way to assist in any way. Extremely well organized and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Went for a Holiday Party. There was a group of 20 of us. We had a room set up for us. The tables were arranged into one large table. We ate family style. The wait staff was so incredibly nice, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We had appetizers, entrees, salad and desserts. I plan on returning another time with friends.

I live in the area, so I have been here many times. EVERY time I have been here or had food to go it has always been amazing. The service is just as good as the food. Great atmosphere! The owner is very generous in donating to local clubs including H-H High School sports. For take-out I highly recommend the Family pack Meal or Grandma’s Sunday dinner.

The food was great, no complaints. Generous portions, wonderful homemade marinara sauce, and overall, Italian food that will satiate your taste buds to the full. We ordered the Spaghetti and Gnocchi with chicken and the chicken was really made wonderfully with a touch of smokiness to the pieces. The fried calamari was also done to perfection. I just took away one star because of some flies that were going around our food and our table which dampened our experience here a smidge.

Was there for a retirement celebration. We had a very long table of friends and/or coworkers. We were outside under cover and the setting was really nice. Our food was served “family style”. From the appetizers to dessert the food was wonderful. Wait staff was attentive and very accommodating. Will definitely go again.

Angelo’s Kitchen has been one of our go-to spots, and we dine here two to three times a month. Last night, however, I was surprised to see a credit card surcharge added to the bill with no notice anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu. Adding a credit card processing fee without clearly disclosing it beforehand is not acceptable. Most customers don’t carry cash, so this becomes an unavoidable and unexpected charge at checkout. If prices need to go up, they should be reflected in the menu—not added as a surprise fee. I raised this concern with the owner because practices like this negatively impact the dining experience and will likely affect how often we return.

This is a family place. A great place to bring kids; they’ll find plenty on the menu that they will enjoy. Portion sizes are generous, not obnoxiously large. Some dishes are a little heavy on the garlic. Value is not great, but there is a full bar and an entire section of the restaurant dedicated to desserts. I’m giving Angelo’s an average rating, but for perspective, I don’t give out many 5 star reviews, and there are plenty of 4 star Italian restaurants in the area that I prefer. If you are looking for a place to bring your kids, or to host a large group, Angelo’s would be a good choice.

Service was fast and professional. Our server George was very attentive and personable, and he had plenty of help from the bussers/food runners. Dining room is bustling, but not cramped. Good quality, real Italian bread is served here, which is something most other Italian restaurants in the suburbs can’t seem to manage. A plate of dried herbs and a container of olive oil is served with the bread.

Manhattan clam chowder was just okay. Burrata appetizer – “served with roasted peppers & tomato bruschetta”, was below average. The burrata itself was fine, but everything felt like it just came out of the refrigerator; it would have tasted better at room temperature. Bruschetta bread was toasted to crouton level, tomatoes were tasteless. Roasted peppers were a nice touch, but why were they chilled? Large pieces of sliced garlic seemed to have been just tossed in. Presentation was very nice.

Chicken Marsala was just average. No noticeable Marsala wine flavor; sauce was thick and brown. “Forest mushrooms” were just standard rough-cut button mushrooms. Lots of garlic. Lasagna Nonno Alfredo – “homemade lasagna with bolognese meat sauce, cheese, béchamel and tomato sauce”. This was also average. Where was the béchamel sauce? It seemed pretty basic, with just tomato sauce, ground beef, and mozzarella cheese. (Adding ground beef to standard tomato sauce does not make Bolognese.) The lasagna was room temperature in the middle, and like lava on the edges. Cutting it up and mixing it around evened out the temperature. Side of broccoli rabe was interesting… A ton of garlic. Plenty of oil. It didn’t seem particularly fresh; I’m guessing it was sitting on the griddle for a long time. I finished it all, so it was not lacking in flavor.

The tomato sauce served on the pasta here is well balanced – not too sweet or tart, but lacking any other flavors apart from tomato. I’m guessing it is the same sauce they use on their pizzas, where you don’t want a distinctive sauce that stands out. Dessert was cream puffs & gelato – not bad.

Aperol spritz is not supposed to be a layered drink; bartender should give it a stir so that club soda is not the first thing you taste.
