And save room for dessert because the chocolate cake is unreal. Rich, moist, and the perfect ending to the meal. I love how it also comes with a recommended time to heat it up- if you’re getting delivery.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, service is friendly, and it has that kind of local charm that keeps you coming back. A true neighborhood gem—highly recommend!!
Thanks to the staff at Angelinos for welcoming us even as you were closing. We’re visitors from Boston and needed some carbs for the Philadelphia Marathon. The pasta was delicious, and the service—especially from Sofia—was excellent. You made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!
Staff were very attentive. I only had to glance towards the waitress and she came rushing over to see if I wanted anything. The manager came to my table just to ask if the music was too loud or if I wanted it turned down when he saw that I was working through lunch.
The food was traditional Italian, pizza place, and Greek. And it was excellent.
Everything, including the bathrooms, was spotlessly clean.
This is located a couple of blocks away from Philadelphia’s Museum Row and a few blocks from the Eastern State Penitentiary tourist attraction. But it is definitely well worth a few minutes of travel. Parking, however, is tight on street parking.
I got the traditional cheese pizza and while I loved the flavor with the garlic crust, it was a bit thin for my liking. Very crispy and in some areas a little burnt. I enjoy a more dense pizza and saucier.
As for the chicken tenders, so simple yet so good. The honey mustard was also the creamy kind that’s my fav!
I think it’s just 12 – 3 ? ?
If it’s not those 3 hours they section off the dining room like a TSA waiting line
So it’s a VERY liminal vibe walking in here for takeout because it feels like covid-era again
90% of the restaurant is unused, no hustle & bustle, and it’s absolutely quiet as a mouse
No real place to wait too, very interesting choices made by the owner of this establishment.
Anyway, the staff was friendly and the pies were tasty
The order took over an hour to arrive, and when it got here it was cold. Not hot, not lukewarm, cold. The marinara for the mozzarella sticks was very runny, a can of Prego is chunkier marinara.
Grubhub offered a whopping $5 back for the problem. That doesn’t even cover the tip I paid.
Really disappointing experience.
