I’ve been to Angelina Café in New York twice now. I came last year and liked it so much that I decided to come back again this year. This time I visited on Christmas morning for breakfast, and it was a really special experience. The place has a cozy and charming French café vibe, and it always feels welcoming. The hot chocolate is amazing, rich and delicious, and the food is great as well, fresh pastries and really good breakfast dishes. Both times I came here I had a very good experience, and everything was well prepared and enjoyable. It’s definitely a place I recommend if you’re looking for a charming French café or a nice breakfast spot in New York City.

Angelina truly serves the world’s best hot chocolate—and that’s not an exaggeration. Rich, velvety, and intensely chocolatey, it’s more like sipping pure melted chocolate than a typical hot cocoa. Every sip is indulgent, smooth, and perfectly balanced, without being overly sweet.

The experience itself is just as memorable. The elegant, classic atmosphere makes you slow down and savor the moment, turning a simple cup of hot chocolate into something unforgettable. It’s comfort, luxury, and tradition all in one.

If you’re anywhere near Angelina and don’t try their hot chocolate, you’re genuinely missing out on one of life’s great treats. This is the kind of drink you remember long after the cup is empty. Absolutely iconic and 100% worth it. ☕️

This was our first “breakfast” of the day… desserts, crepes, and coffee

The food was excellent! I had an eclair – it was creamy and the chocolate on top was smooth!

I gave a 4/5 for service, even though the service was good… the waiter forgot to give me my card back… and gave me the wrong receipt for signature. Maybe it was his first time, but not a normal mistake.

Overall, I would come back and eat at Angelina’s!

I absolutely love this place! Ever since I heard Angelina Paris was in NYC, I’ve been coming here whenever I’m in town. Their chestnut cake called Mont Blanc is my absolute favorite, and I grabbed a takeout this time because I was too busy to wait in line. If you have a moment, you absolutely have to try their hot chocolate at the cafe. The whole experience will be lovely. Their customer service is always fantastic, and you’ll really enjoy being there.

This place was everything I was hoping for! I came for a late breakfast and ordered the Angelina Breakfast with hot chocolate and the omelet. The hot chocolate was perfectly rich and delicious – the most chocolatey hot chocolate I’ve ever had. The pastries were light and flaky and the omelet was perfectly cooked. The staff was kind and attentive as well. It was a lovely experience and I’ll definitely come back sometime.

Lovely brunch with my girlfriends. Food, service, atmosphere were perfect but I can’t only give 4 stars bc the price was a bit much for what we got. It’s breakfast, at the end of the day. I love fancy eggs as much as the next New Yorker but $50 is a bit much. Delicious though!

Walked in and ordered from the takeout counter. We got a pistachio croissant and a hot chocolate.

The croissant had a nice filling and wasn’t overly sweet. I do wish it was flakier though.

The hot chocolate was really, really nice. It was super thick and rich. Even though it is pre made and just poured into a cup, I highly recommend getting it. However, it isn’t for those who don’t love chocolate – because it’s so rich, it can get a little too much for some. I would recommend having some water on the side to cleanse your palate.

I was amazed and a little scared about this place because I wasn’t sure if I would like it but it was really popular and wanted to live the experience and it was a great breakfast, the hot cocoa? Omg amazing!! It didn’t disappoint at all! Service was really quick and good even with the amount of people. It’s worthy.

Tried this French restaurant over the weekend. I really enjoyed their scrambled eggs, they were velvety and delicious. My company had the Eggs Benedict and the Angelina Breakfast. The hot chocolate wasn’t for me, it was very thick and too sweet. The service was fast, and the place was clean. It wasn’t crowded when we went for brunch, so no lines either. The price was fair.

We visited Angelina Paris New York – Bryant Park, since it’s such a popular, internet-famous spot. The café is really pretty inside — very elegant, very Paris-style, and definitely the kind of place people like to take photos.

We ordered the Mont-Blanc. It tasted good, but it was a bit too sweet for us. Still, it’s fun to try at least once, especially because this place is known for it.

If you’re in the area or want a cute café experience, it’s a nice place to stop by — just be ready for desserts that lean on the sweeter side.
