Ran here on my lunch break during the work week: This place is off the chain!! Some of the best soul food I’ve had in the state of Minnesota. The Mac N Cheese is sooo cheesy and good and the jerk chicken is just right!! I’m ultra picky when it comes to my soul food, especially my greens, and they did those greens justice!! Very enjoyable. I’ll be returning with my family next time.

Ok I will start by saying I haven’t tried all of the products nor did I experience there entire team of workers, so let’s begin the kitchen was out of most SIDES (only white rice and Mac n cheese avail) When I arrived around 4:05pm Sunday and NO SMOKED TURKEY LEGS were available! After waiting 30 mins in line to find out this info, I felt scammed. So I ordered the fried catfish since it was available. Double Mac. But I noticed someone get white rice with chicken gravy on top. I decided (BECAUSE THIS MY FIRST TIME AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT) To switch my Mac side to a white rice with gravy side. I asked the cashier and host. They both brushed the request off, and one said why would I do that. The plate has Mac already !!!! Horrible treatment to someone spending there MONEY with YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. As for the food the Catfish was not worth the money u spend but Tasted ok. The Mac and cheese was too gooey with a weird tasting cheese blend. It was a Waste of $26 with no drink included in price. They CHARGE money $ FOR hot sauce that’s not cool. COOK YOUR OWN FOOD AT HOME PPL and love each other!

So glad we stopped in for lunch today. I haven’t had good greens in a long time and these certainly didn’t disappoint! I got catfish filets, greens and cabbage; everything was seasoned beautifully. My assistant coach got ribs, Mac and cheese and rice.

It was a taste from home that I’ve been missing; I ordered the catfish filets, with mac & cheese and spaghetti, then peach cobbler for dessert. The fish was light and crispy and perfectly flaky. The spaghetti was exactly what you imagine when you say the word, and the mac was dense and flavorful. The cobbler slaps if you’re into really sweet. All-in-all, it was crazy good food, and I’m planning on coming back for more.

My mother lives in Ohio now and I have not had a good home cooked meal like this since my grandmother passed away on my dad’s side or even when my dad was alive I will definitely be back there over and over and over again y’all need to check this place out it is the bomb. C-LOC

I absolutely love this place and so does my kids, I’m a really good cook so I can trust feeding my family really good on days I just don’t feel like cooking I know it will be good.. It’s a bit pricey but the food is fantastic. The man in the kitchen knows what he’s doing, sometimes the younger staff members are slow and not as friendly but I overlook it for the great food it’s always on point.. I would suggest military discount or some form of reward system because I’m sure I’m not the only customer who spends a generous amount .. I read the history on this place and loved it now for about 2 years.. keep it up..best in MN..
