Located in a quiet setting overlooking the splendor of the lower canyon, Angel Village café serves a $5 vegan lunch every day from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu changes daily but always consists of a main dish, two side dishes, fruit, a salad and dessert. Angel Village café has indoor and outdoor seating. Water and a coffee bar with hot teas are also available. The coffee and tea bar is available all day, and there’s a vending machine with carbonated beverages and grab and go snacks. The café accepts cash, checks, debit and credit cards. You can also purchase meal tickets from the Sanctuary store with your credit or debit card.

Amazing! Its hard to believe they only charge 5$. Food was excellent! They have lots of options to eat and they include water, tea, coffee. I suggest arriving at 11:30. The view is spectacular from the outdoor seating area. Staff are super polite and helpful.

The BEST tasting food in all of Kanab and the most affordable! $5 per person (no tax or added fees!) for an all you can eat buffet. My husband and I aren’t vegan whatsoever, but I promise you, we have eaten here probably 7 times and have LOVED every single meal we’ve had and each time has been different. Also for a great cause, love supporting this organization because of everything they do for the animals, workers, and volunteers. You’d be remiss if you didn’t eat here and check out Best Friends at least once. Oh and on Thursdays they do announcements about the animals there and sometimes an animal story outside of their organization!

Wow this restaurant is heaven on earth! 5$ for an all you can eat vegan buffet! Unbelievable! The salad bar was insane and so were the main courses. The menu changes regularly. The dessert was very good and there was coffee and tea. The terrace was stunning. I wish i could have come back during my trip. The only thing to note is that it is open on a very tight schedule around lunch! You have to try this healthy spot!

We were visiting Kanab and stumbled upon this gem. Angels cafe is operated by Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. As a family of vegans and animal rights activists this was the best holiday we had because not only was the all vegan food delicious and sumptuous but the whole atmosphere was super warm and friendly. To top it off it’s just $5 per person for the unlimited lunch buffet which includes salad, main course and dessert. We loved their food so much that we purchased their cookbook! After lunch we spent all day at the sanctuary with rescue animals. Today we had the best thanksgiving meal at this place as well. Coming back again soon!

Free coffee available from 7:30am-2pm, so even if you’re not going for lunch I would encourage everyone visiting the Sanctuary to at least go and see the view from the patio. It is quite dramatic.

You literally cannot beat $5 for an AYCE salad bar alone — with fresh veggies, chickpeas/quinoa/edamame, croutons, and diverse dressing choices. Came on chicken parm day and it was fantastic! There was some iffy hummus as well, and the cake for dessert wasn’t the best, but the salad + entree were fantastic. Also has solid coffee and tea options. So pleasantly surprised by this place!!!! Lovely views from the dining area.

This place had a fantastic view. The food was all good, and the salad bar and deserts were especially delicious. Great options for vegans and supporting animals. You also can’t beat the price. Definitely worth checking out and maybe even volunteering.
