Amritsari Lassi
The meal started on a high note with the Amritsari lassi—thick, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, not too tangy, just deeply refreshing and indulgent. It felt authentic, like something you’d get in Punjab, and was the perfect companion to the bold flavors that followed.
Samosa Chaat
The samosa chaat was a flavor bomb. Crispy samosas broken down and layered with chickpeas, yogurt, chutneys, and spices—sweet, tangy, spicy, and crunchy all at once. Each bite had contrast and depth, and it never felt soggy or heavy. Street food comfort elevated to restaurant-level execution.
Chicken Tandoori Starter
The chicken tandoori was beautifully cooked—juicy on the inside with a smoky, charred exterior. The marinade penetrated deeply, giving the chicken layers of flavor rather than just surface spice. The fresh herbs and chutney on the side added brightness and balance.
Goat Dum Biryani
The star of the meal. The goat dum biryani was rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. Long-grain rice infused with whole spices, tender goat that fell apart effortlessly, and that unmistakable dum-cooked aroma when you dig in. This is slow-cooked comfort food done right—robust, soulful, and memorable.
Amazing food
The service was amazing too! I strongly recommend getting a reservation here as seating is a bit limited.
It was extra special because we were celebrating my dad’s birthday and they really made sure we had the best experience possible and also sang happy birthday and gave us some complimentary kheer.
Highly recommend the fresh lime soda, pani puri, samosa chaat, kadai paneer, and paneer kulcha! Will definitely be back soon.
The lamb tandoori is top-tier juicy, tender, and perfectly spiced.
Chicken tandoori was straight fire, full of smoky flavor and cooked just right.
Every bite tasted fresh and authentic.
The seasoning and marinade really stand out.
Portion sizes are generous and totally worth it.
The aroma alone makes you hungry instantly.
Service was friendly and welcoming.
Great spot for real Indian food lovers.
Definitely coming back again and highly recommended.
The food, though, is genuinely great. The flavors are rich, the mango lassi was perfect, and the tikka masala and naan were both really good. Everything looked fresh and plated nicely.
I took a star off because of the atmosphere, but I’d still order from them again, just as takeout next time. I wish the space was a little bigger so the dining experience matched how good the food is.
Parking is next to impossible and without reservation, it’s a one-hour wait on a Saturday afternoon.
The chicken biryani, the chicken was super tender but I think the whole dish lacked flavour.
The lamb rogan josh sauce had pretty good flavour but the lamb wasn’t tender.
The best flavour was the chickpea. Very yummy. The bread was interesting, a tad bit oily but good if eaten right when it’s served.
Nothing was that spicy which was a bit disappointing.
I am very glad we chose this from the list of about few … “10 best Indian restaurants” in NYC
