Favorite coffee shop in Indianapolis! Coffee was fantastic and rich, baristas and staff were helpful and quick, and there was plenty of seating for working or just hanging out. Their flat white was fantastic as was the banana latte. This shop does things right!

Anecdote is by far my favorite coffee shop on the South Side! I’ve never had a bad drink here — the milk is always steamed perfectly, and you can really taste the quality in every cup. I especially appreciate that they make all of their syrups in-house, which adds a fresh, crafted touch you don’t find everywhere.
Their seasonal menu is always worth checking out. I loved the red velvet latte for Valentine’s Day. The staff are consistently warm and friendly, whether they’re taking orders or handing out drinks, which makes the experience even better.
The interior is nice and welcoming, with a decent amount of seating to relax or meet up with friends. Parking can be a bit challenging during peak hours, and I do wish they were open on Sundays. While the prices are slightly higher than some local shops, the quality and consistency make it absolutely worth it. I’ve truly never had a bad experience here.

We stopped here for the first time today and the coffee was fabulous!! The sweet barista recommended to add cinnamon and vanilla to the banana miso latte….. it was amazing!! We will be back 🙂

Lots of seating, both people working had phenomenal vibes they were SO nice, didn’t rush us, even helped pick the order I got gluten free biscuit and gravy that was DIVINE and their banana miso latte warm was a treat, very interesting flavor profile. I have been to Mocha Nut twice and both times the staff has been very friendly and welcoming! The iced pumpkin pie latte is the best I’ve had (I’ve gotten it both times I’ve been there because it’s too good to try something else right now). My fiancé loves their salted Carmel latte. You can tell they have great quality coffee! Today I also decided to get their giant oatmeal cream pie and it was so so good. Can’t wait to try more of their treats! So happy it’s only 5 minutes from our house 🙂

This is a great company, they allowed us to do photos (of my friend and friend only) and I was able to capture some great photos. The girls working the register were super sweet and the environment overall is just amazing! I’ll put some of the photos I took in the review below!! Coffee looked beautiful and tasted yummy. Also ordered biscuits and gravy and the Kevin bacon. Biscuits and gravy was yummy, biscuit on the Kevin was just ok. 3 cups o coffee and two sandwiches 45 bucks. Atmosphere is nice and comfortable. Overall a winner for coffee lovers.
