I come here once a week on a day off. Their everything bagels are my fave, and they have a lot of coffee flavors. Lots of pastries and cookies and stuff. A couple of gluten free options. Fair warning, Andyman may have the slowest toaster on the east coast. Sometimes, if you plan ahead, there might not be a line. I try to avoid coming here when they’re extremely busy, but I’ll be honest I have waited 30 minutes for a bagel and coffee. Worth it!

I was driving by en route from Maine to Minnesota. It was recommended by a local (who worked at a nearby gas station ⛽️). I’m sure glad that I stopped in on June 4th. I ate a delicious breakfast sandwich, with a jalapeño bagel as its bread. . Sometimes, breakfast sandwiches are not done correctly, even though they seem to be a simple meal. The service was fantastic. I really wish that I had gotten two breakfast sandwiches and ate one later. The coffee ☕️ was great. It seemed to be a busy place, so it must be well renowned. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this was a delicious surprise. Bagels were soft and chewy. The sweet treats were so tasty I forgot to take a picture of the ones we tried.

The young lady that helped us was kind and helpful and the cookies were delicious (we had M&M cookies and Italian cookies), but the woman who appeared to be the manager was rude and unhelpful. We asked for a dozen Italian cookies, and she said they were sold by weight, and then told the young lady waiting on us to give us a pound and said it was $19.99 when the menu said $17.99. When we attempted to address the problem ,she didn’t really understand and didn’t want to listen to us and just ran my credit card anyway while we were still trying to address it. Also watch your receipt because, in our case, they gave themselves more of a tip than we wrote down…

Best breakfast sandwiches, they are always hot and bagels are incredible. I haven’t had there iced coffer but there hot coffee is the is great, never taste burnt always seems fresh. The baked goods are incredible and the staff are very friendly and hard working.

This place has gone down hill. It’s not nearly as good as it was a year ago. The counter help is more interested in personal conversations than taking care of customers. When called out they became argumentative. I like most morning customers are in a hurry to get to work. I don’t have time to wait 15-20 minutes for a sandwich with only 2 people ahead of me each getting 1 item. I will no longer stop there. Unless you have the day off with plenty of time to waste and enjoy obnoxiously rude employees, you may want to consider the other local options close by.

Me and my husband just moved to Amesbury and we were wicked excited to try this place. We walked in not being acknowledged by the three workers at the counter at all to sit down.we were the only ones there. We decided to grab takeout. Couple of bagels and couple of muffins. Got to the car and realized they gave us the wrong bagels okay no big deal. Run back in and the woman saId no this is what you asked for and started arguing I said I absolutely would never order anything with raisins (as I can’t stand raisins) she threw the correct bagels on the counter and told me to keep the other ones because they can’t take them back. I threw it in the trash. Me and my wife never complain but we are friendly people who have had a diner ourselves. We not only felt unwelcome but the rude attitudes are what topped these first time customers to never go there again.

This used to be my favorite place for Italian cookies. Last 3 times we got them they were so hard. This last time I asked my husband to make sure they are soft before he buys them, because they are not cheap when you’re buying 2-3 pounds. One color we received was actually soft, but all the others are rock hard. We will not be back.

I love Andyman’s cookies and cakes! I have also tried their various wraps for lunch a few times. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I can highly recommend this bakery/restaurant!
