There really isn’t too much to write home about here. Andiamo is exactly what you’d imagine and expect from an airport hotel (Hilton in this case). My partner and I live close by and wanted to get out of the house, so we figured we’d drop by and try their menu for Dine LA, which was a very reasonable $35 per person. Why not, right? Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the Maitre’d, a friendly, young gentleman who was perfectly pleasant and well dressed (except for his shoes; he was wearing a nice suit with what seemed to be non-slip kitchen shoes that looked a little too close to Crocs – do better, be better) and we were promptly sat for our reservation. I will say, they could have sat us at a better table instead of all the way in the back corner of the dining room – there were plenty of tables and it was a slow night. The space itself is designed nice enough (color schemes, the furniture, lighting, etc.). Once sat, we were greeted by two different servers, which was a little confusing, but both were kind and welcoming. After ordering some overpriced cocktails (they were easy and tasty enough), we settled on trying everything on the Dine LA menu, which was about as ordinary as it gets: a soup, a salad, some pasta, a mediocre piece of steak and an unaspiring dessert. In all, the overall experience was fine. Just about as average as it gets. The space was nice, the service was fine and the food was alright. Just nothing special. Grab a lunch here before your flight and just hit the lobby bar after; you’ll likely have a better time there than Andiamo.

Andiamo at the Hilton LAX is a good spot if you’re craving a well-cooked steak without leaving the hotel. I ordered the ribeye, which was perfectly medium rare—tender, with a light seasoning that let the meat speak for itself. It’s not a loaded plate, so don’t expect sides that’ll steal the show, but the steak? No complaints.

Service was super friendly, though it took a bit longer than expected to get seated and have someone check in. Once things got rolling, though, it was smooth sailing. If you’ve got the time and want a decent steak without leaving the hotel, Andiamo is worth a visit.

Andiamo had a Thanksgiving buffet today. We were so pleasantly surprised at the variety of usual thanksgiving foods; ie, turkey, ham, potatoes, stuffing, yams and so much more. The salad bar was to die for, the fresh baked rolls were delicious and there was an offering of apple, pumpkin and pecan pies. The staff was very attentive and a chef and general mgr asked us how our experience has been. We told them we were appreciative of the yummy food and a place for out of towner’s to enjoy an authentic thanksgiving meal. We came to LA to plane spot at another hotel. We will be making this an annual event of plane spotting and coming to Andiamo’s Thanksgiving buffet for as many years as they choose to do such a wonderful meal.

No rolls or bread for the table. The soup was good but really could have used some pepper. The fish was over cooked. For the price, it should be avoided

Just a lovely place to eat. Food was on point and service was amazing. Totally recommend for a lovely experience. Steak was just how it should be and the Cioppino was yum.

While the place looks nice and the servers are attentive, the food is poor at best. Bread served with the meal tasted a bit “old”, the bolognese was tasteless, steak was so far from medium rare (it came out medium well). Calamari was overly chewy.
I come through Hilton LAX often but won’t be coming back to this restaurant.

Very nice, my food was a bit more oily than I would have liked but was good. Service was great!

Restaurant was almost empty when we dined, so can’t give a high score for atmosphere. My halibut was nice enough, but my wife’s pasta dish had far too much pepper. Waiting staff were great

Had a meal there for an overnight stay in June. The service was great, friendly and attentive. The house bread was warm and very flavorful. We had the meatballs for appetizer which was very well made, and the marinara sauce was tasty.

For mains, we had gnocchi and cacio e pepe. Both were delicious and the portion size was just right. I was worried about the reviews but so glad we had a wonderful meal.

We topped it off with dessert with was Limoncello Mascarpone Cake. It was not too sweet and had the right amount of tartness. Overall, a great and unexpected meal at a Hotel restaurant.
